Milestones of Studio Navale 1988-1989
• Finite Elements Methodology for the structural formation of the cargo hold of Cement Barge and the decks of a Livestock Carrier.
1990• Preparation of the drawings and studies fully electronically
1993• Of the pioneers in the preparation of the Enhanced Surveys Reports to the Classification Societies
requirements.• Of the pioneers in the certification as Class Subcontractors.
2000-2003• Preparation of feasibility studies for the conversion of single hull tankers to double hull ones.• 2003: The first Panamax tanker contracted for conversion. More than of 15 followed.
2005• Replacement of the rudder equipment of a Panamax bulker, as a result of a damage. Renewal 200TN
of steel in way, a new Becker type rudder and new rams of the steering mechanism fabricated and installed. MV Caravos Horizon at HSY
2008• Involvement into the new acquisitions of EKO (3 tankers + 2 RoRo Tankers).
2009• Involvement into the investigation of a fractured bottom of a bulker, through a fully developed Finite
Element Model and relevant analysis. Finite Elements (FEM) 2010
• Business cooperation with METRICA SA for scanning to ship structures related projects.

Recent Activities on Repairs Management
Replacement of an anchor and modification of IG SW pipe within ONE day, having the ship in INERTED condition (CARELL SA Project).
Contamination of the ballast tanks with fuel oil,
due to a cross pipe leakage.
Assessment, evaluation of the case and
permanent repairs within 7 days (CARELL SA
Project).
Evaluation of the existing deep well pumps in order to handle viscus liquids.Cooperation with the Makers
Survey of the ship for a PPCS purpose and evaluation of the existing damage/repairs.

Recent Activities on Repairs Management
Extensive repairs specification of a Polish AHTB (CARELL SA Project partially conducted at NEORION Shipyards).
Demanting repairs specification of a
Singaporean AHTB (CARELL SA Project).
Repairs in a drilling platform under a demanding specification and strict HSEQ issues (NAVEP works at ELEFSIS Shipyards).
Acquisition of the ship on behalf of Owners and putting her in trading.Various repairs and Class matters were dealt with.Preparation of the Shipping Company.
