Cascading Flip Book

Open a blank Power Point slideUse the line tool to draw a line horizontally across the page at 0”Insert clip art or a picture that corresponds with the subject above the line, put picture as the backgroundAdd Word Art and type in the title Add a text box and the students add their nameInsert a new slide, Use the line tool to draw a line horizontally across the page at ½” below 0” Type the title for the first step or first term, at the top of the slide add text and pictureContinue by making a page for each step or term. Draw a horizontal line at ½” below each previous slide. Print the pages on cardstock and cut on the horizontal lines.Staple the book together at the top.

Open a blank Power Point Slide.Make sure ruler tool is on.Use the line tool to draw a line horizontally at 0”.Use the line tool to draw a line vertically at 0“, and at 2 ½” on each side of the zero down from the horizontal line. This gives 4 boxes, you can adjust to make only 3.This will give you four boxes.Duplicate the slide before typing into it.Go back to first slide with boxes.Insert a text box or word art in the blank area at the top, type first and last name. Rotate name so that it show upside down.Insert a text box into each box and type information. Size to fit.Go to the duplicated slide.Use the line tool to make four boxes at the top of the slide.In the bottom row of boxes insert a clip art or a picture into each box.Move the lines in the bottom boxes up 1”from the bottom of the slide.Use WordArt to insert the title of the project on the bottom of the inner panel. Vocabulary Word ArtCreate a new blank Power Point slide.Download a picture you want to use and save it to My PicturesClick to select Word Art tool.Choose the desired word art style. Choose one that is fat or hollow!Enter your text.Click and drag the center of the word art to move it. Click and drag a corner to resize it.I make the font size 200 to cover the page.To insert the image, click insert >pictureFind and select the image you downloaded earlier. Insert the picture.Highlight the word> right click> click Format Text Effects> Text Fill>click Picture or Text Fill>Close.The picture will appear in the word.Delete the picture.Cite the source you got the picture from.

Open a blank document.Create title slide with title, clip art, and created by.Go to layout and choose Title & Content slide.Type in I was invented in & year, insert a picture of an invention, resize to cover slide.Go to insert and add shape and choose a square. Put four squares on the slide to completely cover the picture.On home tab click new slide arrow and click duplicate selected slide.Edit text to say, I was Invented by.Delete one of the squares.Duplicate slide and edit text to say, I am made of & delete another square.Duplicate slide and edit text to say a fact about the invention & delete another square.Duplicate slide and edit text to say I am & name the invention & delete another square.
