Water Bottles As we are still unable to use the school bubblers, can you please ensure that your child/ren bring a drink bottle to school each day.

School Attendance Updated Advice Students should be at school unless: • they have a medical certificate which states that they are unable to return to school due to an ongoing medical condition and the expected timeframe • they are currently unwell. In accordance with advice from NSW Health, parents and carers are reminded NOT to send children to school if they are unwell, even if they have the mildest flu-like symptoms. Schools will make arrangements for students who present as unwell or have flu like symptoms to be sent home.

NSW Health have requested that schools encourage anyone who is unwell or has even mild flu-like symptoms, to arrange to be tested through their local medical practitioner or one of the COVID-19 clinics. Students and staff with flu like symptoms will need to provide a copy of a negative COVID-19 test result before being permitted to return to school. Schools are not required to conduct widespread temperature screening or mandate the wearing of a mask.

Super Students

I was very proud of our students who attended ‘The World of Maths’ sessions last week. The students were given

wonderful feedback from the presenter. He said the behaviour of our Stage 3 students was some of the best he has seen, they were polite, engaged, creative and supportive of each other. Outstanding work kids!

Piano Lessons If you are interested in piano lessons for your child/ren please contact information below. Anna is our choir accompanist and is part of the Conservatorium of Music in Bathurst.

It is so wonderful to see students borrowing! So many children are now catching up on their reward stamps and visiting “The Library Bookshop” as they have 10 stamps. We are so lucky to have our amazing P&C supporting this great reading program! Have a look at all the happy faces this week. Nichole Wade Teacher Librarian Raglan Public School
