Ask yourself the following questions What time of day do

SQ3R Method
Survey Scan through titles, headings, pictures, graphs, charts (etc.) first
Question Turn boldfaced subtitles into questions for reviewing
Read Read with the purpose of answering your questions
Recite Pause to check for your understanding
Review Go back to answer your questions and/or chapter questions. Try reviewing sections of your reading material every night.

Use a Combination of Active Study Methods Discuss out loud, use flash/cue

Remember: You are trying to organize information in your head, not just on paper!
Know what is going to be on the exam!
Organize study material into 40-minute sessions. Take a break after each session.
When reviewing, ask 5W questions (Who, What, Where, When, Why) and How
