See the World from a New Perspective Student Exchange Program at Sejong University, Seoul, Korea Sejong University Established in 1940, Sejong is a highly reputable private university located in Seoul, Korea. It consists of ten colleges, with 11,498 undergraduate students and 1,627 graduate students. Currently, as many as 1,664 international students are studying at Sejong, as degree-seeking students, exchange students, or learning the Korean language at its Language Institute. Sejong University is ranked 501-550 in World University Rankings by QS and ranked 501-600 in World University Rankings by THE (Times Higher Education) 2016. Exchange Programs Sejong University welcomes exchange students from all over the world. Each year, growing number of international exchange students find the opportunity to expand their horizons and discover Korean as well as Asia culture at Sejong University. We offer unique experience of a lifetime. You can meet the people from over forty different countries, learn new and interesting customs – maybe even new languages – and take courses not available at your university. Courses Around 15 percent of all courses are taught in English throughout all majors. Most of courses are open to exchange students, including the courses taught in English as well as the regular courses taught in Korean. All exchange students should work closely with their advisor from their home institution to ensure that the courses they take in Korea are approved for credit by their advisor. Program Dates and Deadlines The approximate dates of the Korean academic calendar are: Spring semester: from March to June Fall semester: from September to December Admission Requirements The program is open for Sejong University's partner institutions. This exchange program require a certain level of maturity, independence, seriousness of purpose, and an ability to adapt to new environmental and academic conditions.

ApplicationProspective exchange students need to apply by mid of November for spring semester and mid of May for fall semester. The required materials, such as academic transcript, passport copy, and proof of medical insurance, must be submitted through the online application system.
