History and Development of the Scorecard

2004

• California State Assembly Bill1417• Establishment of the Accountability Reporting for the Community Colleges

(ARCC) program

2011

• Establishment of the Student Success Task Force to increase completion rates among California Community College students

2012

• Student Success Task Force recommended the development of a student success scorecard

• The ARCC Technical Advisory Workgroup reconvened to design the Scorecard

• Scorecard report produced annually by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office
