Transcript of Stroud Public School Newsletter · WHAT’S ON Stroud Public School Newsletter Care, Respect,...
This week we have had some updates on
COVID-19 guidelines which will ensure that
our school remains as safe as possible for
our students and staff.
In accordance with advice from NSW
Health, parents and carers are reminded
NOT to send children to school if they
are unwell, even if they have the mildest
flu like symptoms. Schools will make ar-
rangements for students who present as
unwell or have flu like symptoms to be
sent home. Please send in an absentee
notification through Skoolbag or ring the
school to provide a reason for your
child’s absence. If children are away be-
cause they are unwell, there is no expec-
tation that they complete school work as
it is important that unwell students rest.
Students and staff with flu like symptoms
will need to provide a copy of a negative
COVID-19 test result before being per-
mitted to return to school.
We will be vigilant when implementing
infection control, physical distancing and
personal hygiene protocols to protect
the health and safety of students and
staff. At the moment these school ac-
tivities are on hold:
School assemblies
Year 7 transition to high school
programs
Kinder orientation
Face-to-face P&C meetings
Face-to-face parent meetings
(unless it involves a serious mat-
ter)
Mrs Brewer will be on LSL from next
Wednesday 26th August until Thurs-
day 3rd September. Mr Howland will
be taking her class with Mrs Bartlem
doing her usual Fridays. Thank you to
both teachers for your support.
Have a great weekend. Hope it is not
too windy!
Carolyn and Staff.

Osbourne It seems that everyone has been
busy being creative this week.
Wattle made some spacemen and
their rockets and Waratah spent a
long time creating their cacti.
Amazing pieces of art work!
