BusyFish (TM) Enterprise Model

• The Enterprise is represented by a vertical tube. Running through the tube are the business processes and product-specific processes.

• This vertical representation has been designed to illustrate that inputs to the enterprise should ideally pass through the enterprise as quickly as is possible.

Current situation• A lot of unplanned efforts to meet given objectives and

customer requirements• Mission, mission-objectives and quality policy have been

defined independently-> a weak vision of the required capabilities:

• Missing a Strategy - Process Integration-> lack of support for mission objectives from enterprise process.

To evaluate the SPI, take advantage of the methodology Balanced Score Card to unfold and monitor indicators

Harmonize definitions of enterprise modeling based on strategic planning.

•Adjustments in the methodologies of strategic planning•Unfolding indicators and •Administration of business processes

=> All of these should be integrated into enterprise models

Page 21: Strategic Process Integration

The explicit integration of the strategic planning in the enterprise modeling helps to strengthen the processes of the company and develop the strategic flexibility

Organizations better clarify their future needs for resource capabilities and support their decisions to get benefits from improving competitiveness and interoperability

Personnel working for strategic planning and enterprise modeling will find their link and will work as a team in their entire organization -> know clearly what they must improve and how they can directly or indirectly contribute to the mission of the organization
