Magento Product List Gallery extension allows viewing all images of products listed in the catalog

page without leaving it. When the mouse pointer rests on the item thumbnail picture, slideshow with

all its other images begins. Configure video from Youtube or any other source as well as uploaded

video to be demonstrated along with images. These useful front-end features encourage visitors to

browse faster and purchase more.

Perfect for apparel stores, the feature gives the possibility to take a closer look at your items right on

the catalog page, without unnecessary clicks and page reloads.

In admin panel, choose one of two modes: Front/Back and Slideshow. The first one helps quickly

demonstrate how this or that dress or costume looks from the front and behind by switching between

two pictures. The second mode launches the slideshow with all the item images.

Configure thumbnails size and slideshow animation (enter time it takes one picture to change into

another and time one picture is being displayed) for a better customer online browsing experience.

When you add video, a small play button appears in the pictures. The user clicks on it and video

begins playing instead of the image.

How to Install

Step 1. Check Permissions.

Make sure the ''app'', ''skin'', “media” and “js” directories of your Magento and all directories inside

them have full written permissions or set permissions on each directory equal to 777 or 0777.

Important! Change all permissions back after installation.

Step 2. Disable Сache.

Log into Magento Admin Panel and go to System → Cache Management and disable cache.

Step 3. Disable Compilation.

Log into Magento Admin Panel and go to System → Tools → Compilation and disable the compilation.

Step 4. Upload files

Upload all files and folders from folder to the installation directory of your Magento software using an

FTP client.

Step 5. Re-login.

Log out and back into Magento Admin Panel.

Step 6. Enable extension.

a) Go to System → Configuration. In the left column you will see the new tab – Belvg Extensions.

b) Enable extension for the whole website or selected store.

Now extension is installed and enabled.

After this step you can change all permissions, cache and compilation settings back.

How to Deactivate

Step 1. Disable Extension.

Log into Magento Admin Panel and go to System → Configuration → Product List Gallery → Settings

Select "Disable" to deactivate the extension (its functionality will no longer display in the front end).

Click “Save Config” button.

The extension is now deactivated.

Step 2.Clear cache.

Go to System → Cache Management.

Clear the store cache.








Log in to the admin panel, and we will show all you may need to configure.

Navigate to System –> Configuration –> Product List Gallery.

In Thumbs area, enter thumbnails width and height. Next, select animation type and configure it.

For Slideshow, configure Delay – time between mouse pointer resting on the picture and slideshow

start, Time – time it takes one picture to change into another one and Interval – time one picture is

being displayed. For this animation mode, all the product images will be displayed in the slideshow.

3. How to Configure








For Front/Back, configure Delay and Time. For this animation mode, two pictures by sort order,

specified in the product configuration in the admin panel, will be displayed.

Navigate to Catalog –> Manage Products.

Click the Edit action in the line corresponding to the product you want to add the video clip to.








In the Video tab, in the Video Source drop-down menu select the type of video you want to be played

along with images.

For Youtube and Remote Server, insert the video link. For Local File, upload the video clip in mp4

format.








On catalog pages, whenever the mouse pointer rests on any product image, the slideshow starts as

configured.

4. How to Use








After clicking on the play button, the video clip starts playing.
