Awards will fund three stages of activity: Research and development (optional, depending on the stage ofdevelopment the project is at). Creation and production. Showcasing and presentation.

Awards are expected to be in the range of 20,000 80,000 depending on scale and ambition. Between 10and 20 awards are expected to be made under this round of funding. Professional, established disabled artistsand companies that support disabled-led work across all art-forms are encouraged to apply.

Strong artist/producer relationship evidenced, Collaborationsand partnerships (including with non-disabled led companies/artists/producers). Flexibility/adaptability toensure works engage with a range of venue sizes/scales

For the 2015 round, Unlimited are looking to commission new work, i.e. that which may still be at a very earlystage of conception, or may already have undergone some form of research and development. Work can be inany art form, as long as it is innovative, varied, excellent and led by disabled artists. Unlimited is focused on

HLF - Young RootsThe Young Roots programme is aimed at young people aged11 to 25 years and encourages them to take part in activitiesexploring heritage; from green spaces, museums, andhistoric sites to language, local memories and youth culture.

Grants of between 10,000 and 50,000 are available for projects that

will last for up to two years. The total cost of the project can be no morethan 100,000. Applicants do not have to make a cash contribution tothe project. However, applicants are encouraged to gain support for theproject in the form of non-cash contributions and volunteer time. This isparticularly important if the grant makes up a very high percentage ofthe total costs of the project.

Funding is available for partnerships of heritage and youth organisations. Partnerships must be led by not-for-profit organisations. If private owners are involved in the partnership, then public benefit from a project isexpected to be greater than any private gain. The project should include opportunities to celebrate the youngpeoples achievements in the project, for example with an award or certificate, and share their learning with thewider community, perhaps through a performance, an exhibition or online.

Potential applicants are advised to submit a pre-application enquiry form before applying. Advice can then beprovided on whether the project meets the priorities for funding and what applicantsshould do to make an application. The pre-application enquiry form and fullapplication form are available to complete online

Applications may be submitted at any time. Link to guidelines:http://www.hlf.org.uk/HowToApply/programmes/Pages/youngroots.aspx

Funding available to organisations to help raise thestandards of underperforming schools in England.

The overall objective of the programme is to break the linkbetween family background and educational achievement, ensuring that young people from all backgrounds have theopportunity to fulfil their aspirations and make the most of theirtalents. It is envisaged that 200 million will be allocated in totalover a 15 year period, with the extra fund value coming from fund-raising and investment returns. Theexpected minimum grants size is 50,000.

Applicants who are not themselves target schools mustwork in partnership with such schools or be able todemonstrate that their project will benefit pupils in these schools. The EEF will would not expect to fund aproject which reached less than 100 students, and ideally would want it to cover more than one school. An EEFproject must represent an advance on what has been tried before, in terms of content, scale, design, implementation, or evaluation.Proposals must demonstrate:

How the organisation will raise attainment within schools.

How the organisation will be held accountable for the success of the proposal.

Also, projects must fit within one of the following four broad approaches:

Testing and incubating new ideas which have a proof of concept.

Bringing initiatives from other contexts to EEF target students and schools (this could include, forexample, programmes from overseas or from the independent sector).

Scaling up initiatives which have been proven to work on a modest scale.

Developing projects with potential that have not, to date, been delivered or evaluated effectively. Deadline.1 April 2015 (5pm).Applicants must first register on the EEF Application Systemhttp://educationendowmentfoundation.com/
