It’s all going on in St.Helens Town Centre this Christmas!

St.Helens is pulling out all the stops to make this Christmas extra special, with an events programme that will bring the Town Centre to life!There are a whole host of events, activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy!

X-Factor finalists Paul Akister & Lola Saunders, Britain’s Got Talent finalists ‘Bars and Melody’, along with local favourites ‘The Lancashire Hotpots’, are set to light up St.Helens Town Centre! Bars and Melody, another Britain’s Got Talent act, had a top five success with their debut single and have already been hailed as the UK’s hottest new boy duo.Local comedy folk band favourites The Lancashire Hotpots will be entertaining their hometown crowd

with classic hits ‘Chippy Tea’, ‘He’s Turned Emo’, ‘I Fear Ikea’ and many more.The event will also include a fun-packed seasonal programme featuring top local and regional talent.

The after show party line-up also includes Scouting for Girls, the hugely popular pop-rock band with a host of Top 10 hits including ‘She’s So Lovely,’ ‘Elvis Ain’t Dead’ and ‘This Ain’t a Love Song’.

Evening headliners The Lightning Seeds, fronted and formed by Ian Broudie, have had 12 top 20 UK hits including ‘Pure,’ ‘Change’, ‘Sugar Coated Iceberg’, ‘You Showed Me’ and the unforgettable 1996 football anthem ‘Three Lions’.

The Hummingbirds are an acoustic ensemble from Liverpool who capture the ‘Liverpool sound’ as well as putting an interesting twist on conventional folk and blues music.
