When the symbol of the ICTHYS (Christian fish) became the topic of a casual discussion, it lead to different opinions of how and where the mark was created. This simple yet monumental image is what led Sterling Grace to be born in the heart and home of Deborah Harter. After hours of research and answers uncovered, a passion for creating tangible artwork of her Christian faith was ignited. As a bible teacher and speaker she began to share what she was learning with others and brought to light the meanings through her designs, readily available in all forms of art including jewelry. It was then, in 1995, she decided to design Christian jewelry in sterling silver and include their scriptural meanings.

In keeping current with trends and having customers’ request jewelry for a younger generation, the iTAG line made its debut. iTAG stands for I Talk About God. The tags are smaller pieces worn as a simple necklace or collected on a chain in multiples. As quickly as it was introduced its popularity has continued to soar. It crossed all age barriers and is a favorite to women of all ages. In the fall of 2013, Sterling Grace’s newest artist at age 4, launched a jewelry line of her own which met a need that did not exist; providing quality sterling silver Christian jewelry for children. The Sterling Collection is now a sought-after favorite for young girls and boys. Sterling Harter, now age 6, with the help of her YaYa (Deborah) continues to create precious designs for her line. YaYa guides and collaborates with her to grow one of the neatest lines of jewelry for children. Every piece of jewelry these artists create is for the opportunity it allows the wearer to share his or her faith because someone might ask, “what does that mean?”

For many years Sterling Grace Jewelry has only been offered from their single brick and mortar store. After years of requests from people all over the U.S. asking where they could purchase Sterling Grace Jewelry near them, the wholesale business was established. Through our wholesale program Sterling Grace Jewelry can now be offered to your town and customers. Enjoy, have fun and watch for the latest creations to continue our mission. Feel good too that with every piece purchased a portion of the proceeds will go to help with education, water, orphans, camps and other organizational needs that arise and tug at the hearts of the Harter family and staff of Sterling Grace.
