separate LV division to cater to the demand

for complete IBMS solutions. This effort

includes partnering with leading names in

the industry to provide a complete range of

IBMS solutions and strategic tie-ups with

Within a short span, the LV Division has

organisations including ITC, AIIMS, L&T,

Sterling Generators was set up in 2005 to

provide single point DG Power solutions. The

manufacturing facility boasts of Asia’s

largest integrated Generator, Power and

Control panel, Motor Control Centers, APFC

Panels and Balance of Plant equipments.

The facility is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

accredited by Germanischer LIyod Gmbh of

Germany.

This division has had many accomplishments

to be proud of :

• Within its second year of operation, SGPL

became t he l a r ges t buye r o f MTU

engines in Asia.

• In the third year of its operations, SGPL

became the 2nd largest supplier of

gensets in India above 1000 kVA.

• In the year ended 2010, exports

contributed over 25% of the companies

turnover.

• SGPL has commissioned fourteen 3,000

kVA gensets with synchronizing panels

at Delhi International Airport - DIAL. This

is perhaps the single largest genset

installation in the country.

• Sterling Generators is also responsible

for making India’s first grand prix a

roaring success by providing non-stop

power backup all through the Formula

One weekend.
