ABOUT US Center for dogs and cats JASENAK is veterinary station specialised for medical treatments, recovery period and sterilisation including accommodation of elderly, sick and abandoned dogs that are to be adopted.

Taking the importance of responsable ownership into account, the center’s policy is primarily focused on promotion of humane animal treatement and protection of animal wealthfare, together with implementation of sterilisation programe as the only efficient and humane method for reducing the number of strey dogs and cats.

It’s placed near Belgrade center, only 30 km away, and it

spreads over 1,5 ha of authentical greenery.

Its ideal location makes it perfect for rehabilitation and

temporary accomodation for cats and dogs.

TREATMENT AND REHABILITATIONWithin its veterinary practice, Center for dogs and cats Jasenak offers services of preventive, general and specialist examinations, treatment and surgery. The infirmary is especially designed for pets that need hospital accommodation and therapeutic treatment under veterinary surveillance:

• abandoned dogs and cats in the care of Associations for the protection of animals or temporary guardians until fostering;

• owners’ dogs who are old or seriously ill with condition requiring permanent supervision and whose owners can no longer provide the adequate care;

• owners’ dogs whose treatment and rehabilitation requires permanent veterinary supervision with stationary treatment and daily care.

Abandoned dogs and cats in the care of Associations for the protection of

animals or temporary guardians have special advantages and non-commercial

treatment. Following this idea, Center for dogs and cats Jasenak wants to contribute

to the most efficient care of stray dogs and cats and help systematically to solve the problem of abandoned dogs and cats, which Associations for the protection of animals and temporary guardians fought

for every day.

STERILISATIONThe Center for dogs and cats JASENAK is conduction sterilisation and castration of dogs and cats by using inhalation anesthesia. Inhalation anesthesia is considered to be the safest option in small practice, and provides pain free operations, plus the recovery is much quicker and easier.

Since one of the centre’s goals is contribution to solving the problem of stray dogs and cats - we established non-commercial prices for sterilization and castration, which includes antibiotic therapy and recovery period up to 4 days after the intervention. If, for some reason veterinarian suggest longer postoperative period it is included in the price. This refers both to the abandoned dogs as well as to dogs who have owners, which are chipped and registered in the register of dogs and cats in the Veterinary Directorate.

DOGS: Sterilization / castration and recovery period up to 4 days - 3000, 00 RSD

CATS: Sterilization / castration to recovery period up to 4 days - 1,500.00 RSD

The owner or temporary guardian shall provide dog food during the four-day free stay in the Recovery Center within the complex. If the owner or temporary guardian are unable to

provide home for the dog or cat after the recovery period, there is a possibility to pay

for accomodation, the price is 400 RSD per day (plus food).

TRANSPORTATION If you need to sterilise your dog or cat, or the dog you are taking care of needs pansion accommodation for a longer period of time, a treatment, a recovery or rehabilitation, and you are not able to organize transportation to the Centre for dogs and cats JASENAK - call us (linked to the pages contact) and we will organise to meet and take over the dog or cat anywhere in Belgrade Transport from Belgrade to Jasenak (and back) is charged on non-commercial prices. If you are located outside Belgrade, we can reach you as well, but in this case the price will be determined depending on the location.

Center for dogs and cats Jasenak is placed 30 km away from Belgrade center, within the Obrenovac municipal territory. Working hours: 24/7. Veterinary clinic & center practice regular duty hours, however, it is necessary to announce your arrival.
