Specific instruments are needed due to the different design
geometries for each type of implant. These instruments are
indicated accordingly in the surgical tray.
While for the Z5m ⁄ Z5mlb and Z5mlc implants the insertion
instruments are only plugged in, for Z5c implants we provi-
de a very firm connection between implant and instrument.
a) The white implant holder is rotated in a clockwise direction, and the implant is freely accessible.
b) The clamping wedge can be installed.
c) Constant vertical pressure is very important in order to ease insertion of the implant.

Application tip:Turn the implant slightly to the left before insertion. The thread just reaches into the pre-cut-of
alveolus, and then follows the threads when turning clockwise.
HealingZ5m ⁄ mlc ⁄ mlb
The Z5m-, Z5mlc-, Z5mlb- and Z5c implants heal
transgingivally.
There are various gingival formers available for these
implants for shaping after healing. These can
also be used to create provisional single tooth implants
for a maximum of 180 days.
Z5c
The Z5c implant is provided with sterile healing caps
for after the insertion.
There are various gingival formers available
for tissue healing.
