We would like to welcome everyone to the 7th edition of “Our Commitment” Bid-Off Female Sale. Over the years the location of the sale has changed but a few things have remained consistent, we continue to focus on raising and offering the best prospects in the country, we remain 100% committed to helping our customers achieve their goals and we strive to do things the right way.

We feel very fortunate that last year’s offering has represented our program so well. Thank you to the families that took our cattle to the very best show rings & judges in the country. This group captured Supreme Titles across the country, State Fair Breed Champions and Supreme Honors throughout the Midwest, and Division Winners at their respective Junior National Heifer Shows this summer.

We anxiously await getting this year’s offering into the show ring and helping our customers achieve the same level of success. Like always the cattle offered are the cream of the calf crop. BIDSBase prices have been established on all of the calves. If more than one person in interested in the same calf, we will hold a bid-off auction on that particular calf.

The auction is open to only those who place a bid on that calf by dark on the 4th of October. All bids will be a minimum of $250.00. Once a calf gets to $10,000.00 the bids will increase to a minimum of $500.00

All bidders names will be kept confidential during the bidding process unless all parties involved in bidding on a particular calf wish to have their names disclosed.

A person may bid on 2nd or 3rd choice, as long as those bids are turned in by 7 PM CST on the 4th of October. (We will try to bid off your 1st choice first and if you don’t get that calf purchased, you may bid on your consecutive choices. If you don’t get your first choice purchased you are not bound to your 2nd or 3rd choice bids).

All bidding will be handled by phone. Initial bids may be made in person or by phone anytime.

We will start bidding off the calves Saturday evening at 7 PM. We want to do our best to finish things up in a timely manner. We ask that you please stay close to your phone while we are bidding off your calf.

PICKUP/DELIVERYAll cattle must be picked up by October 15th, unless other arrangements have been made. All cattle must be paid for in full by October 11th. Cattle cannot be picked up without being paid for.

DNA/FLUSHESSteck Cattle/DJS Shorthorns/DUNK Cattle Co. retains the rights to DNA mate-rial on all cattle selling.

Also, retaining the rights to two successful flushes on all females in this offer-ing. At our expense and owners convenience.

Retaining 1 flush per year on lots 9, 10, 11 & 12. At our expense and owners convenience.

BREEDING GUARANTEEWe guarantee all livestock sold as sound breeders. However, if we feel ani-mals have been fitted to extreme levels or mishandled we hold the owners responsible for any reproductive problems and no longer feel responsible to guarantee that animal. In the rare case that this would occur, we will still try and assist you through two breeding seasons.

HEALTHEach animal will be represented with state approved health certificate for interstate shipment. All vaccinations are up to date.
