BUSINESS CASE

Define rules : Campus 2.1 guiding principles to be applied @ SWIFT

Flexible working is accessible to all • Implementation is defined at team level in a transparent way

Working remotely is like working in the office • We have the skills, attitudes and leadership that make

working remotely as natural as in the office • All  staff  have  “state  of  the  art”  standard  and  light  equipment  to

be accessible, collaborate and work from any place in a secure way

People are nomads in an activity-based workplace • All staff have access to a work environment catering for the

needs of their activities : concentration, collaboration, informal contacts and support

People are nomad in an activity-based workplace – floor layout • All space is shared • Teams are anchored to a floor • 8 desks for 10 staff • 60% Collaboration zone : project tables, work tables, niches, meeting

rooms, lounge • 40% Individual work zone – whisper zone : office desks and library • Mingle area to work, meet, eat and relax • 1 locker for personal items • 1 linear meter for dynamic shared departmental filing

Floor layout principles

• Office space is equally available for all – No private/dedicated offices or space – Executives use a meeting room

• Flexibility and freedom of choice – People are flexible and can work at any workplace on the floor

• Transparency – People see each other – As much as possible, visitor and work areas are separated

• Variation in work settings – Different workplaces matching different activities

• Central common area with 1 locker per person for personal items with a secured (code/badge) access

• 1 linear meter per person for dynamic shared departmental filing with a secured (code/badge) access
