Kangna Ranaut Does Not Want To

Play Second Fiddle In Krrish 2Bollywood actress Kangna

    Ranaut, who worked with

    Hrithik Roshan in Kites,

    has reportedly turned down

    Hrithiks offer to play second

lead in Krrish 2. Both Rakesh

    Roshan and Hrithik have

    reportedly tried to convince

    the actress but she elaborated

    then about her reservations of

    playing second ddle.

    Priyanka Chopra has been

    already nalised to play the

leading lady in the sequel as

she was in the original l m too.

    After Kites, Kangna became

friends to Roshans but that was

not enough to convince her for

the role, which is said to be in

    the lines of Cat-woman.

    A source revealed that Hrithik

    explained Kangna that the

    role will give enough scope

for action and it was written

    considering her. But she was

strict to her point that she wont

    play second lead anymore

because she has been type cast

    after playing second lead in

    Fashion. The actress started

    receiving offers to play second

    lead only.

    However, Kangna is now

    enjoying her good time in

    the industry after playing the

lead heroine in Once Upon A

    Time In Mumbai opposite Ajay

    Devgn. She is now playing

    heroine of Madhavan in Tanu

Weds Manu. She is also the

    female lead of Sanjay Dutts

    rst home production Rascals

    and in Game, Kangna will

    be seen opposite Abhishek

    Bachchan. After lling her

    kitty with such big names,

    Kangna will denitely vouch

for lead roles only. So, no one

    can complaint about it.

    However, Rakesh Roshan

    says that Kangna was never

    approached for the role and

    only Priyanka has been

    nalized.

Harper Government Consults Indo-Canadian Community on EconomyInternational Trade Minister

    Peter Van Loan and

    Parliamentary Secretary Bob

    Dechert discuss jobs, growth

    and Canada-India free trade

    The Honourable Peter Van

    Loan, Minister of International

    Trade, and Bob Dechert,

    Parliamentary Secretary to

    the Minister of Justice, met

    with Indo-Canadian business

    and community leaders in

    Mississauga, Ontario, to

    discuss Canadas economic

    growth and the governments

    commitment to free trade with

    India.

    Our government is focused

    on economic recovery, jobs

    and growth, said Minister

    Van Loan. We are securing

    long-term economic prosperity

    by opening new markets

    for Canadian businesses

    and creating opportunities

    for Canadian workers. Our

    government has taken every

    opportunity to strengthen ties

    with India, especially through

    our negotiations toward a free

    trade agreement, which could

    boost Canadas economy by $6

    to $15 billion annually.

    The Indo-Canadian

    community has played a vital

    role in Canadas economic

    success, said Parliamentary

    Secretary Dechert, who is also

    the member of Parliament for

    Mississauga-Erindale. Our

    government will continue to

    consult with Canadians as we

move further on the path to

    economic recovery. The values

    of hard-working Canadians

    living within your means,

    reducing waste and keeping

    taxes lowwill continue to

guide us as we create even

    more jobs and opportunities

    for Canadians.

    Minister Van Loan launched

    the rst round of negotiations

    toward a free trade agreement.

    A Canada-India joint study

    concluded that a free trade

    agreement could increase

    bilateral trade by 50 percent

    and boost Canadas economy

by $6 to $15 billion annually.

    An agreement with India is

    an important part of Canadas

    broad and ambitious free

    trade agenda, which includes

    negotiations with close to 50

    countries. These include the

    members of the European

    Union and Ukraine,

    Minister Van Loan said.

    Canadas free trade

    agenda is creating

    new opportunities for

    Canadian businesses, said

    Parliamentary Secretary

    Dechert. These trade

    agreements mean jobs for

    Canadians and economic

    success for Canada.

    Since taking office in 2006,

    the Harper government

    has concluded free trade

    agreements with eight

    countries: Colombia,

    Peru, Jordan, Panama

    and the European Free

    Trade Association states

    of Iceland, Liechtenstein,

    Norway and Switzerland.

    Canada is also in discussions

    to expand existing first-

    generation free trade

agreements with Chile,Costa Rica and Israel.

Even though 2010 was not a

    great year for the Bollywood

    lms, with some massive

ops, UTV has made it big this

    year. They have presented the

audience with a mixed bag of

    movies, from light romantic

    comedies, to a blockbuster

political thriller to awardwinning feature lms. So now

they are eyeing to bag nothing

less than Rs. 450 crore for the

    year 2010-11.

    Last year the production house

    collected Rs. 315.4 crore but

by March 2011 UTV will get

    this new amount. The CEO

    of the UTV Motion Pictures,

    Siddharth Roy Kapoor told

    that though trade pundits

might say that the year 2010

was not a protable one for the

    lm industry, his production

    houses prots show a different

    result.

    UTV started the year with

    the release of Shahid Kapoor

    and Genelia Dsouza starrer

    Chance Pe Dance directed

by Ken Ghosh. It didnt work

    magic like the directors

    debut lm but received a

    lukewarm response. Next up

    was the critically acclaimed

    Harishchandra Chi Factory

    directed by the theatre-veteran

    Paresh Mokashi.

    The multiplex young crowd

    responded well to the rom-

    com I Hate Luv Storys

    directed by debutant Punit

    Malhotra and starred Imran

    Khan and Sonam Kapoor.

    The production house kept

showcasing movies of t he rst

    time directors and they didnt

fail to bring in the revenue

and the good reviews from the

    critics. Udaan was one such

    lm by the debutant director

    Vikramaditya Motwane that

was a coming of age lm of a

teenage boy. The lm made all

the right noises in Can nes a nd

    still making rounds of other

    film festivals.

    Aamir Khan joined hands

with UTV for the film Peepli

    Live, which was a satirical

    take on the politics thats

played on the suicide of the

farmers of Madhya Pradeshand the sensationalizing

    journalism. The film went

on to become a bumper hit,

but it was the mega budget,

    multi -star cast Raajneeti

    that just scorched the box-

    office.

    However, the bumper came

    from the much awaited

    Hrithik Roshan-Aishawrya

    Rais flick Guzaarish

    directed by Sanjay Leela

    Bhansali. The movie failed

to get the collection in the

    box-office that it should

have, but UTV made it even

    by pre-selling of the music

    and satellite rights. So the

    production house didnt lose

their money and is now all

    set to collect the whopping

    revenue.

Michael Douglas Wins TheBattle Against Life ThreateningDisease CancerThere is some good news

    for Michael Douglas fans

    as he has nally recovered

    from cancer. Douglas fans

    were quite sad when he

    announced that he was

on the late stage of throat

    cancer. Douglas has added

    that the chemotherapy and

    the radiation sessions have

    worked in his favour and

he is nally free from the

    life threatening disease. Dr.

    Bert W. OMalley who is

    a professor and chairman

    of the department of

    otorhinolaryngology head

    and neck surgery at the

    University of Pennsylvania

    Medical Center was thrilled

to hear the news and added

    that Douglas has nally

    crossed the biggest obstacle

of his life and it is now

    important to take into

    account of what happens

to him in the next three

    years. The term period of

    three years is an absolute

    necessity to detect whether

    the person is free from

    cancer.

    There was an outcry when

    Douglas was detected at

the last stage of his cancer

(stage -4), which is a verycommon thing. Doctors

are also of the opinion that

    Douglas should get himself

    screened very frequently

so that the tumour does not

    recur again. Experts also

    warned about the impact of

    certain side effects. Douglas

    also plans to gain 32pounds

which he had lost due to

    the radiation. Douglas have

    been eating well to gain

    weight.

    We wish him a speedy

    recovery.

    Four fnancial promises youll

want to keepOkay, weve had a few weeks

to make and break our New

    Years resolutions. Now is

a good time to make some

    nancial promises to give your

nances an extra boost in 2011

and help see you better off by

    year-end.

    1. Promise to make the

    biggest RRSP contribution

    you can.

    When it comes to improving

    both your immediate and

    long-term nancial position,

    an RRSP deposit can deliver

big time. First, you are putting

    money away for your future

    and reaping tax savings now.

    Second, your money grows

    faster in an RRSP because

    taxes are postponed on the

    investment income. Depending

    on your marginal tax bracket

    and type of investment income,

the return in your RRSP may

be enhanced by as much as

    40% or more.

    2. Promise to re-invest your

    tax savings.

It is very tempting to spend

    a tax refund on gratication

now items, but youll be better

off in the long run if you tuck

it away. Treat any tax refund

as a bonus for your portfolio

and put it to work building

    your future wealth. An annual

    refund of, say, $2,500 invested

    at 7% compounded annually

will grow to $34,541 in just 10

    years.

    3. Promise to budget

    for Christmas spending

    throughout the year.

    Many open their credit

    card bills in January and

    are stunned by the amount

    they spent on Christmas. A

    $5,000 Christmas spending

    spree, using a credit card

    with a 19.5% nancing rate

and taking 12 months to pay

    the bill off,will actually cost

    $5,544. Dont forget this is

    after-tax money. Budgeting a

    certain amount for Christmas

    spending now, dividing by 10,

    and putting that amount aside

each month can help you avoid

    January credit card shock.

    4. Promise to invest

    regularly.

    Save more throughout the

year and youll have more at

the end of it. Its that simple.

    Review your spending habits

and look for ways to cut back.

If you leave the money in your

    everyday bank account, it will

be too tempting to spe nd it. To

    make sure your savings plan

has a better chance of success,

    set up a separate investment

account. You can even set up

    an automatic monthly deposit

    plan. Considered the secret

    of many successful investors,

    regular, systematic investing

    can help you two ways:

    First, it provides you with

    a disciplined process for

    building your wealth. The

    normal ups and downs of

    the markets are less likely

    to distract you when youre

    building your portfolio with a

    regular automatic investment

    plan.

    Second, you can benefit from

    what is known as dollar-cost

    averaging. Simply put, your

    regular investment purchases

    more units when markets are

    low and fewer units when

    market values are high.

    Averaged over time, you can

    build your investment plan at

    a lower overall cost.

    Akshay Kumar: Money Doesnt Rule

His Decisions In Making FilmsAkshay Kumar is an actor

    who makes great moolah for

    his producers and distributors

    without having the sufx Khan

after his name. Over the years

the Akshay has went on to give

hits after hits and made a name

for himself from an action hero

to an actor who has a very good

air for comedy. Now as he has

    turned producer his choices

of making lms are no longer

guided by how much money it

will be collecting at the end of

    the day.

At the music launch of the

lm Patiala House the 43 year

old actor said he is no longer

    concerned about how much

the movie will be making, but

    instead wants to produce and

do lms that he can feel good

about. Kumar goes on to say

    that he has immensely enjoyed

working in the lm and hope

that with this lm he can offer

    something new to his audience.

As a producer of Hari Om

    Productions, the Khiladi of

    Bollywood goes to the state

that so far the lms he has

    produced, which comes up to

    about eight lms have fared

    well in the box-ofce. Neither

the distributors nor he had to

suffer any kind of losses, so

he is happy being a producer,

    but Akshay also mentions in

the same breath that he cannot produce a lm like Udaan or

    Tere Bin Laden.

It is not only Akshay who

    is incapable of producing a

lm that caters to a niche

    audience but actors like Shah

    Rukh Khan and Salman Khan

too has their hands tied as

    producers according to Akki.

    The reason being the market

    expects a certain amount of

return from a lm that has any

of these three stars and a lmlike Udaan collects Rs. 8 crore,

which is good but a Dabaang of

    Salmans collect Rs. 140 crore.

On an average SRK, Sallu and

    Akkis lms covers Rs. 70

    crore, but the actor believes

that over four or ve more years

people will get interested to see

lms like Udaan and Tere Bin

    Laden and as producers they

can do it. Patiala House will

    see Akshay opposite Anuskha

Sharma is being directed byNikhil Advani and will hit the

Bollywood Hot-shots To Walk For Mijwan Girl-Child A Project

Taken By Shabana AzmiRanbir Kapoor, Hrithik

    Rosahn, Farhan Akhtar,

    Karan Johar, and many more,

    all together 20 hot-shots of

    Bollywood are coming together

to walk the ramp on January 23

for a noble cause. The fashion

    show will collect the money

and donate it to the education

of girl-child in Mijwan, a small

    village in Uttar Pradesh.

    The Mijwan Welfare Society

    (MJW) was spearheaded by

    the dynamic lyricist, poet and

    activist Kai Azmi, the father

    of Shabana Azmi. Now the

actress - activist has taken up

the project and has decided to

give as much boost as possible

    in the education for girl-child.

Azmi has said that not more

    than Rs.6,000 is needed to

educate a girl in Mijwan in

a year and now she wants to

    continue the efforts that Kai

Azmi had put in while he was

    alive. Hrithik Roshan said

    that walking and supporting

    such causes enriches him as

a human being as it sensitizes

him to the needs of the others

    who are less fortunate than

him. On the other hand Ranbir

    Kapoor has decided to visit

    Mijwan sometime in April

    before the summer vacation

of the school begins. He feels

that this support is a small way

of paying tribute to the men

like Kai Azmi and its time

to pay some attention to the

rural India as still 80% of the

    population of the country is

    still in villages.

    The fashion show will be

    designed by Manish Malhotra

and he has promised that all

    his chikankari works will be

    outsourced to Mijwan artisans

    from now. Last year the

    works of Mijwan artisans was

    mentioned by designer Anita

    Dongre.

MANY CANADIAN PARENTS NOT MAKING THE MOST OFAVAILABLE TAX SAVINGS: RBC POLL Only half of parentscurrently saving for their childs educationTORONTO, January 10,

    2011 Four-in-ten (42 per

    cent) Canadian families with

children under the age of 12 are

not taking full advantage of tax

    savings, including 17 per cent

who say they are not aware of

    what options are available to

them, according to a new RBC

    Tax Planning Poll.

When you are raising a family, its important to stretch every

dollar and making the most of

    available tax savings can make

    a big difference, said Patricia

    Domingo, Investment &

    Retirement planner, RBC. By

    taking advantage of available

    tax credits and incentives,

    parents can maximize their

tax returns and put that money

    toward their saving pr iorities.

The RBC poll also found that

just over half (56 per cent) of

    young families are currently

    saving for their childs post-

    secondary education. Of the 44

per cent who are not currentlysaving, nine per cent feel they

wont need to, but the majority

(84 per cent) of the rest said

that they would like to, but

are unable due to their current

    nancial situation.

    The top nancial challenges

    for parents are having money

    left over from paycheque-

    to-paycheque (30 per cent),

    followed by paying down debt

    (28 per cent).

    It can be challenging for

    young families to balance

    savings priorities, but starting

with putting aside just a small

amount on a regular basis canmake a meaningful difference

    in nancing your childs

    education, said Domingo.

    A Registered Education

Savings Plan (RESP) is a good

    option for parents to consider

    It was a magical moment

    display by the whole Indian

    team that enabled India to

win the 3rd ODI against South

    Africa at Newlands. Yusuf

    Pathan and Harbhajan Singh

    played well to make India

victorious in just 48.2 overs for

    the loss of 8 wickets.

SA batted rst and hit 220

    runs. Even though their

    skipper Graeme Smith was

okay and scored 43 in 79 balls,

    he at times seemed vulnerable

to the pace of Zaheer Khan.

    Khan constantly beat Graeme

    Smith with both his swing

    and sudden movement off

the pitch. In the end, Smith

    fell to Harbhajans off-spin in

the 23rd over. Just before he

    was dismissed, Zaheer took a

    stunning diving catch in the

    outeld to dismiss De Villiers

    for 16. Harbhajans spin

    played much havoc among SA

    batsmen, and took 2 wickets

for 23 runs in 9 overs. India

didnt have much to chase but

    when they succumbed to 5/93

runs in the 24th over, magical

play was required from rest of

    Indians. But Pathan launched a

    savage attack against both SA

    off-spinners Johan Botha and

    JP Duminy. Pathan was given

    the man-of-the-match award.

    Harbhajan Singh remained

not out on 23 runs from 25

balls, and hit much needed 2

    sixes. Pathan is playing for

the 1st time in this series, but

he struck 59 runs off 50 balls

as India took a 2-1 lead in the

    5-match series.

    Even though the 2nd test

    between Pakistan Vs New

Zealand ended in a draw, Pak

won the series by 1-0. Pakistan

had already won the rst test in

    Hamilton.

    Needing 274 runs for victory

on the last day, Pakistan was

    looking pretty easy in the

    beginning when they were 160

for the loss of 4 at tea today at

    Wellington. However, instead

of losing quick wickets for a

    victory in this test, Pakistan

took a no-risk approach in the

    nal session and that resulted

    in this draw.

    Younis Khan scored 81 runs

    from 155 balls and skipper

    Misbah-ul-Haq (70 not out

    from 227 balls) batted patiently

    and settled for a draw.

    Pakistan captain Mishab said,

We saw the series as more

    important than this Test.

    Younis Khan batted well in

    both innings and Umar Gul

did well in the last Test, but

    everybody is contributing

and thats really good to see.

He won the man of the match

    award too.

    However NZ skipper Daniel

    Vettori said, We couldnt

quite play catch-up in this Test

    and that is because Pakistan

    were on top after Hamilton.

We now focus on getting our

    combinations right for the one-

    dayers and the World Cup.

Sourav Ganguly Feels Bad About S SreesanthsOmission From Indian Team

    Former Indian skipper Sourav

Ganguly is feeling bad at the

    omission of bowler S Sreesanth

    from the Indian team selected

for the cricket World Cup 2011.

    He said, Its really surprising

to see Sreesanth out of the

    side despite his recent form

    and performance. As of now,

    Sreesanth was having a good

t ime in recent test matches

    against South Africa, and

he was hoping to be seen in

    the WC squad.

    Sreesanth said, I am so

    heart broken...but i t is

    lack of faith that makes

    people afraid of meeting

    challenges and I believe in

    myself. Wishing the team

all the very best. I am sure

we will win (the world cup)

    this one...(I) will surely

    miss i t .

    Well, we agree that

    Shanthakumaran Sreesanth

    does have calibre with

    him and can bowl both

    inswinger and outswinger

    balls.

    as there are tax advantages

    and government matching

    programs to help make your

    childs education goals a

    reality.

    RBC highlights the following

    tips for young families looking

to make the most of tax savings

    and their nancial planning:

    Open a Registered Education

    Savings Plan RESPs are

    exible savings plans that

allow money deposited foryour childs post-secondary

    education to grow tax-free

    until they attend university or

    college.The federal government

    supplements RESPs through

    the Canada Education Savings

    Grant (CESG), which matches

contributions by 20 per cent up

to an annual maximum of $500

or $7,200 over the life of a plan.

    Upon withdrawal, the income

is taxed in the childs hands,

so there should be little or no

    tax payable given the child

will be in a lower tax bracket.

    Additional federal grants are

available for lower-incomefamilies and Alberta and

    Quebec also offer provincially-

    based savings incentives to

    boost education savings.

    Open a Tax-Free Savings

    Account A TFSA allows

you to grow your money tax-

free, up to $5,000 per year.

    Also, room from your allowed

    unused contribution can be

    carried forward to future years

    and any money withdrawn

    will be added to unused

    contribution room so you

    can re-contribute that money

    starting the following year.

Take advantage of childcare deductions Child care

    expenses, such as daycare,

    nannies, summer camp and

    before and after- school

    programs are eligible for a

    deduction against income. The

    claim amount is actual cost

of expenses, up to a specic

    dollar amount, and is claimed

by the parent with the lowest

    taxable income.

    Take advantage of theChild

    Amount Tax Credit This

credit allows you to claim a

tax credit on your income tax

return based on an amount of

$2,131 for each child underthe age of 18. This can also be

    applied against tax deducted at

    source by your employer.

    Take advantage of the

    Childrens Fitness Amount

    Tax Credit This credit

entitles you to claim up to

$500 per child to cover costs

    of enrolment in a qualifying

    tness program. To claim the

    14 MOVIE TALK

Yamla Pagla Deewana Movie ReviewIn the 1970s and 1980s,

    Bollywood churned out

    hardcore masala lms by

    the dozens. Those lms

    appealed to the Balcony

Class as well as the Stall

    Audience [terminology

    used for dissecting the

    audience then]. Even today,

    lms like SHOLAY, AMAR

    AKBAR ANTHONY,

    NAMAK HALAAL, DON,

    ROTI KAPADA AUR

    MAKAAN, DHARAM-

    VEER, MUQADDAR KA

    SIKANDAR et al, the most

    popular lms of that era,

appeal to the guy riding an

    auto rickshaw as well as

    the CEO of a multinational

company. A var iety of reasons,

if you ask me. One, watching

    the Deolparivaarin one frame

is an experience in itself. Most

    importantly, it delivers what

    it promised in its promos:

    Laughter and amusement. Its

a lm that caters to the aam

    aadmi, whos keen on having

a good time at the movies. Its

    denitely NOT for the hard-

    nosed critics or fakes who

    masquerade as champions

    of art house cinema.

    But YAMLA PAGLA

    DEEWANA has a ipside too:

    The romantic sequences are

a bore and the music, barring

    the title track and Charha

De Rang, is a earsore. Even

the climax ght is very, very

    formulaic. But, thankfully,

    the plusses outnumber

    the minusses by leaps and

    bounds here. The second

    half, to be specic, salvages

the show to a major extent.

    Final word? The fans of

    Deols, even those who had

drifted away, are sure to lap it

up in a big way. Triple masti,

    triple mazaa, triple magic...

    Go, get entertained without

    using your intellect. The lm

    begins in Canada, travels

    to Banaras and eventually

makes its way to Punjab. The

    father-son duo of Dharam

    Singh and Gajodhar Singh

    [Dharmendra and Bobby Deol]

    are the biggest con-men in

    Banaras. Their happy-go-lucky

    existence involves drinking

    and pulling off hilarious cons

    on unsuspecting people. The

    only hitch in their perfect

    albeit notorious life arrives

    in the form of Paramveer

    Singh Dhillon [Sunny Deol].

    A brawny and honest NRI

    from Vancouver, Paramveer

    lands up in Banaras claiming

    to be Gajodhars elder brother

    separated at childhood.

    The duo willingly accepts

    Paramveer into their fold only

    to exploit his muscle power

    to serve their con games.

    Meanwhile, Gajodhar falls

    in love with Sahiba [Kulraj

    Randhawa], a beautiful

    girl from Punjab. As their

    romance reaches its peak,

    her brothers [Anupam Kher

    and company] arrive and

    forcibly take her away.

    Paramveer saves the day

with a crazy plan to win

    the girl back for Gajodhar,

    which leads them to the

    rustic heartlands of Punjab.

    The film redeems itself in

    the post-interval portions.

    The graph zooms upwards

    the moment the focus shifts

    from Banaras to Punjab.

    The introduction of Anupam

    Khers character, his assorted

    brothers, the sequence when

    Sunny and Bobby ask for

    Kulrajs hand in marriage,

    the arrival of Dharmendra

    and also Sunnys Canadian

    wife Emma Brown Garrett

    subsequently, Sunnys

    speech in English at the

    election rally... the fun never

stops. Of course, the villai ns

    track [Puneet Issar] is an

    obstacle and the climax fight,

    like I pointed out earlier,

tries so hard to be funny.

    Also, the film couldve

    done with trimming. .

    On the whole, YAMLA

    PAGLA DEEWANA is a

    hardcore mass entertainer

    that fulfils the expectations

of the aam junta. Those who

    love Deols will adore this

    one, while those who dont,

    wont ignore it either. The

film works big time for its

    mass-appealing second half

    and loads of entertainment

it has to offer. Business at

    single screens should be

    exceptional, while the film

    should set new benchmarks

    in North India [Punjab

    specifically]. Internationally

    too, the film should perform

the best in U.K., U.S.A. and

    Canada.

    YAMLA PAGLA

    DEEWANA is playing

    at Albion and Woodside

    Cinemas and tickets can

    Kollywood: Is Shruti Hassan Dating

    Her Co-Star Siddharth?

    Kollywood: Tamil Nadu Govern-

    ment To Honour Illayaraaja With

    M.S. Subbulakshmi Award

    Actress Shruti Haasan, the

    multi-talented daughter of

    veteran superstar Kamal

    Haasan, is hitting headlines

    these days for some personal

    reasons! The actress is

    making her Telugu debut with

    Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu but

that is not the news. It is her

    close association with co-star

    Siddharth that makes things

    spicy for the fans.

    Shruti has been recently

    spotted with Siddharth at

    various occasions and it has

more than often. It seems that

the duo feels very comfort able

    in each others company. They

    have been spotted in Chennai

    and Hyderabad recently. The

rumor is rife that the duo are

seeing each other and the on-

    screen love is now blooming

    off-screen too.

    In Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu,

    Siddharth is playing a yodha

    and Shruti plays his love

interest. It seems the duo want

to take it forward to real life

    too. It is worth mentioning

    that Siddharth earlier dated

    his Rang De Basanti co-

    star Soha Ali Khan, after

    divorcing his wife Meghna

    in 2006. It seems that

    Siddharth is again looking

    forward to some romantic

    alliance and we hope this

    time he gets lucky!

    However, Shruti is still

    maintaining the usual good

    friend tag about their

    relationship and nothing

concrete has come out of the

    horses mouth. So, it might

    be like any other on-screen

    couples, who are linked up

    during the shooting and

    before the release of the

    film and the gossip vanishes

    once the movie is released!

    At a convention of blondes,

    a speaker insisted that

    dumb blonde myth is all

wrong. To prove it he asked

    one cute young volunteer,

How much is 101 plus 20?

    The blonde answered, 120.

No, he said, thats not right.

    The audience called out,

    Give her another chance.

    So the speaker asked

    the blonde, How

    much is 10 plus 13?

    Slowly the blonde replied, 16.

    Sorry, he said, shaking

    his head. Once again

    the crowd roared, Give

    her another chance.

    This is your last try,

    warned the speaker.

How much is 2 plus 2?

    Carefully she ventured,

    Four? And the crowd

    yelled, Give her another

    chance!

    A chemist, a biologist, and

    an electrical engineer were

on death row waiting for the

    electric chair. The chemist

was brought forward rst.Do you have anything

    you want to say? asked

    the executioner, strapping

    him in. No, replied the

    chemist. The executioner

    icked the switch, and

    nothing happened.

Under state law, if an execution

    attempt fails, the prisoner has

to be released, so the chemist

    was released. Then the

    biologist was brought forward.

    Do you have anything you

want to say? No, just get

    on with it. The executioner

    icked the switch, and again

    nothing happened, so the

    biologist was released. Then

    the electrical engineer was

    brought forward. Do you have

    anything you want to say?

    asked the executioner. Yes,

    replied the engineer. If you

swap the red and the blue wires

    over, you might make this

    thing work.

over his shoulder or nail it in.

    the other nut, guring

    this was worth looking

    into, asked, Why are you

    throwing those nails away?

The rst explained, If I pull

a nail out of my pouch and

    its pointed TOWARD me,

I throw it away cause its

defective. If its pointed towardthe HOUSE, then I nail it in!

    The second got completely

    upset and yelled, You

    toward you arent defective!

Theyre for the OTHER side of

up to the boat. The men

    grabbed the bottle and when

they pulled the cork out of

    the bottle, a genie appeared.

Ill grant each of you a

    single wish, said the genie.

    I wish I was home,

    said the rst man. Then,

    poof! he disappeared.

I wish I was home, too,

    said the second man.

    Poof! He disappeared too.

    The third man looked around.

Gee, Im kind of lonely, he
