Indeed, I have been, and am truly blessed to have such a superb team of people working with me to achieve the many

fabulous things we have done. My thanks is not enough to these people... Star school is full of shining Stars who are

responsible for making the main star shine so brightly this year.

So what is to come in 2018-2019:

1. First and foremost, over the course of the holiday we will be sending out information to you regarding the start of term and what to expect. This will start to happen in August

2. You have already received notes on Orientation Day, please read them carefully as the structure is different this year.

3. The school calendar with main dates has been issued.

Main events and changes that you will see within school will be;

A. The completion of the EYFS block with the addition of EYFS1. Please be aware of a change in the outside

areas

B. Canopies across all of EYFS will be constructed

C. Work will start on the major completion of the auditorium

D. The Primary school will all be in the ground floor of the building. Major works will be happening in 2018-

2019 on the first floor to prepare classrooms, specialist rooms and the first floor for the opening of the

Secondary Section of school hopefully in 2019-2020

As you’re all aware we have been collecting donations of clothes, food and toys over the past few weeks. This has all

accumulated into our Ramadan ‘Two Weeks of Giving’

I am pleased to tell everyone, the two weeks have been incredibly successful and our donations will be collected by The ‘Red

Crescent’ Society and distributed to those less fortunate.

A huge thank you to all the parents for your support.

A huge thanks to the Arabic and Islamic team, especially Mr. Nizar and Ms. Maysa for their organisation of the event.

Thank you to all TAs and support staff for sorting out of items into boxes.
