MONITORING OBJECTIVES

SOCOTEC UK LTD were commissioned by Masonite Ireland to carry out stack emissions monitoring to determine the release of prescribed pollutantsfrom the following Plant under normal operating conditions.

Masonite Ireland operates a first stage fibre drier process at Carrick-on-Shannon which is subject to IPPC Licence PO021-02, under the EPA Act 1992.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The results of these tests shall be used to demonstrate compliance with a set of emission limit values for prescribed pollutants as specified in thePlant's IPPC Licence, PO021-02.
