Marco Ceccarelli from the Faith Enrichment Centre will speak at Mass today about our faith education on ‘Theology of the Body’ 2. The Holy Hour will include the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Some Spiritual Reflections and conclude with Benediction. Praying that the Lord will grant us the generosity to respond courageously to his call to become the person he is calling us to be, is everyone’s sacred duty. At a time when societal trends tended to see the body as an object of pleasure or as a machine for manipulation, John Paul II emphasised the theme of love as a self-gift and saw the body as a means to love in the image of God.
