setting of the future. The basic objective of the program is not to replace the teacher but

to entirely change the teacher’s role. A multimedia bearing engine ‘EVERONN’

empowers teachers and students a rich collection of new and interesting animations, fact,

diagrams, interaction with faculties thus making bearing a truly illuminating experience.

COMPUTER LAB : A way to rule the roost in CYBER AGE. A well equipped computer laboratory having 25 computers with adequate nos. of

printers and internet facilities make the students of Jr. as well as Sr. Wing an easy

access to computers.

LANGUAGE LAB For the first time language lab has been introduced in GARHDIWALA and above

all in our school to enhance the English and other subjects knowledge by listening with

earphone and visualizing on screen. The importance of International language i.e.

English could thus be taught to the students by providing them an environment where

they can learn the exact pronunciation of words and thus could enhance their

vocabulary knowledge about English language.

LUSH GREEN PLAY GROUNDS: In a quest to develop happy, healthy true sportsmanship SSDPS GARHDIWALA

recognizes the need to nurture talents of the students from early age. Students are inspired

to perform not only at school level but national and international level in various sports

activities along with their academics. To develop healthy spirit & well rounded children,

the facility provided at SSDPS GARHDIWALA develops all facets of the

student’s personality. Professional Coaches are appointed for football, Volleyball, and

swimming.

SICK ROOM We have a provision of sick room and services of well qualified doctor and nurse. A

regular medical checkup is done by the doctor. Also provision of counseling and guidance

has been provided by SSDPS GARHDIWALA for its adolescent students.

MATH GARDEN

We have started a math garden in our school. The school garden is designed with

mathematical shapes. Different mathematical shapes are used like triangle, pentagon,

hexagon, circle and semicircle. They are filled with different (flowers) plants. Some are

seasonal and some are evergreen flowers and plants.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE SCHOOL

St. Soldier Divine Public School is situated on GARHDIWALA. It is serving the students from all the sections of society without any discrimination.

Registered St. Sol. Educational Society controls the school. The school provides education to the students from class 1st to senior Secondary.

S. S.D.P. School was established in 2005. At present the school is providing education to 563 students. Humanities, Commerce and Science groups are being run successfully by the school.

The school was granted affiliation on 01/04/2006 (code no. 1630405). Every kind of modern amenities are being provided to the students for better performance.

All the students of the school have been divided in four houses that are:- a) Shivaji House b) Ranjit House c) Partap House d) Gobind House Various inter-house competitions, such as-Dance, Quiz, Drama, Cultural programs , drawing competition , Paper Reading , Healthy Baby, Fancy Dress Competition etc are being organized. PRO highlights such Co Curricular activities in the various newspapers.

The students are regularly showing their outstanding performances. They are being selected in IIT, P.M.T, BDS and many other professional degree courses.

School staff is qualified as per the CBSE norms .To update the knowledge of the teachers various workshops and seminars at regular intervals are being organized by the society.

For the overall development of students, they are being sent out for educational tours and excursions. Apart from games like Athletics,Volley ball, Basket ball and Kabaddi,badminton,wushu,chess are being played in the school.

The students are getting scholarships and distinctions in academics from Master Raj Kumar Chopra’s Scholarship Scheme.

Regular medical camps for the medical check-up of the students are being organized. To discuss the progress and problems of the students, parents Teacher’s Meeting is

being organized regularly once in every month.

As the school has close relations with the Distt. Administration . It activity takes part in all the co-curricular activities organized by the Distt. Administration.

Many times, the school has been visited by various foreign dignitaries for their collaboration .

School Morning Assembly & Pledge The school is conducting a very attractive Morning Assembly. During the Morning Assembly a useful Thought is daily delivered amongst the students. At the end of the Morning Assembly the following sublime Pledge is recited. :- India is my country. All Indians are my brothers and sisters.
