Congratulations to our 8th graders, we wish
you all the best in high school!
Congratulations to our Kindergarteners, see you for 1st grade in August!
Thank you I would like to say a very special word of thanks to each of you that have been praying for me and my family through this time.
God’s grace is the thing that I have needed the very most through this experience, and His grace has been poured out upon me in a way that I have never before experienced.
Hebrews 4:16 encourages us to come confidently to the Throne of Grace where we may find grace to help in our time of need. I have received many generous and loving gifts in the past few months. From the generous, the small thoughtful cards from people who are praying for me. to the masses being said for me locally and from England to Lourdes, France. All of these have given me the grace that has lifted me up.
We have a very special community here at St. Pius X, one that is supportive and prayerful. I am very grateful to be part of this TEAM.
In Matthew 6:6, we read that God has a special reward for those who pray in secret, seen only by Him. My prayer is that God will pour out a rich blessing upon each person that has been praying for me.
A very special friend told me the other day, that we all have crosses to bear and we need to make something good of it, if possible. We need to "let his light shine through us".
Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I am blessed.
Love,
Mary Micklitz
A special thank you to Mrs. Zarate for all that
you have done for our school.
Thank you for the love, dedication, kindness, (too many to mention) that you
have shown to each and every one of us.
We will miss you….I will miss you, my friend.
Summer Reading/English and Math requirements will be posted on our school website next week
Congratulations!
Congratulations to all our CYO teams on a GREAT season and especially to our
Tiny2 Team with an undefeated season and making the Playoffs!
Good luck at your 1st game TONIGHT at 6:30 at Holy Name.
And if they had Playoffs for Tots, both our Tot 1 and Tot 2 Teams
would have qualified!!!

Discernment Is Not Checking Boxes
But no matter what we do or don’t do, no matter if we get it “right” or “wrong,” no mat-
ter if we figure out what we’re “going to do with our lives” or take every moment in
stride, God will be there at our side guiding our path. Our goal in discernment is not to
answer all of the big questions once and for all, to check boxes off a list and cast
them—and God— aside until we have another question; our goal is to journey with
God, to be constantly listening for the call that he has for us, the call to be a disciple of
his Son in today’s world. Our goal, above all else, is to live in the moment with God. —from the book Called: What Happens after Saying Yes to God
