St Michael’s Manor continues to set the standard for the festive season with dining for all occasions. Whether you are celebrating with friends, family, as a couple or as a party we offer a relaxed and informal atmosphere with attentive, personable service and a high standard of cuisine.
Lunch and dinner is served in our magnificent restaurant-orangery, Cedar suite or Oak lounge and our ever popular afternoon tea is served daily in our lounge. Private room hire is also available.
You may wish to join one of our Snowball party nights or have exclusive use of the restaurant-orangery for your group, company, charity or society.
Whichever you choose we look forward to you enjoying our charming and magnificent 16th century former manor house, tastefully decorated for the festive season.
Start with a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival, in our lounge or bar, then a three course menu accompanied by half a bottle of wine, coffee and mince pies.
Follow this by taking to the dance floor to enjoy the rest of the night.
Our Snow Ball Parties are perfect for smaller groups looking to share the atmosphere of a festive party.

aCCommoDation
St Michael’s Manor has 30 individually decorated bedrooms; all en-suite and all with their own individual character and charm. Our tariffs vary depending on date and number of people staying in the room. Due to the age of the building and size of the rooms accommodations vary; some of our rooms will accommodate families of four and others up to three people.

terms anD ConDitions
Restaurant-orangery/afternoon tea reservations
For tables of six or more dining in the restaurant, or for afternoon tea a deposit of £20.00 per person (£10.00 per person for afternoon tea) is required upon booking to hold your reservation. The balance is payable on the day.
Cancellations received within 72 hours of the date of the booking will forfeit the deposit.
Due to demand for reservations if deposits are not received within 14 days of the booking we reserve the right to release your reservation without notice.
Cancellation charges cannot be credited to your party’s account.
Snowball party nights
Snowball Party Nights are subject to our function and events terms and conditions which are available through our website or on request. Please call or e-mail and we will be pleased to send these to you.
Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve
Due to demand for reservations a provisional booking can be held for seven days. If confirmation and a deposit are not received within seven days we reserve the right to release your reservation without notice.
A deposit of £50.00 per person is required to confirm your reservation along with credit card details. The balance is payable on the day. After 1st September 2015, all deposits paid are non-refundable.
Cancellations within four weeks of the date of the booking, or failure to attend on the day, will result in a cancellation charge equal to the number of diners booked and the corresponding menu price.
General terms
Cancellation charges cannot be credited to your party’s account. Cheque payments to St Michael’s Manor Ltd. Payment can also be made by cash or credit/debit card or by direct transfer – account details available on request.
Should the hotel be closed due to inclement weather, a full refund of the monies paid will be issued by cheque through our Head Office. Should snow/ice mean you cannot attend an event, your non-refundable deposit will be held by the hotel and can be used against accommodation, food and beverage purchases at another Christmas event or during the month of January 2016, (subject to availability).
The Hotel may cancel your booking at any time and without obligation to you in the event that the deposit payment schedule is not met by you; the hotel or any part of it is closed for reasons beyond the hotel’s control or if the hotel is sold or ceases to be operated by St Michael’s Manor Ltd. In such events a full refund of any monies paid by you to us will be refunded from our Head Office.
An optional 12.5% gratuity is added to your final account and distributed amongst the team.
Accommodation cancellation
Accommodation cancellation policy during December 2015 is 24 hours’ written notice prior to the date of arrival to avoid incurring a full cancellation fee, with the exception of New Year’s Eve accommodation which is 14 days written notice.
All prices include VAT at the prevailing rate.
Prices and menu content may change subject to availability and without prior notice.
Allergens: If you have a food or drink allergy or intolerance please advise our staff before ordering food. We take as much care as possible to avoid contamination, however all food is prepared in our kitchen where nuts, gluten and other allergens are present.
