Two A/C Units Replaced Se reemplazaron dos unidades de Aire Acondicionado

St. John had to replace two air conditioning units in mid-A ugust. Due to the age of the machines, it was a wiser investment to purchase new machines instead of repair the old ones. The total cost for these units was nearly $12.000 We thank you for your generosity in giving to the air conditioning collections San Juan tuvo que reemplazar dos unidades de aire acondicionado a mediados de agosto. Debido a la antigüedad de las máquinas, fue una inversión mas inteligente comprar máquinas nuevas en lugar de reparar las antiguas. El costo total de estas unidades fue de casi $12,000. Les agradecemos su generosidad por sus donativos a las colectas para gastos del aire acondicionado.

Habrá clases de Inglés gratis para adultos, los días mar-tes y jueves de 5 pm a 6:30 pm empezando el 3 de sep-tiembre en el salón #5 de la escuela San Juan Evangelista. There will be free English classes for adults, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 pm to 6:30 pm beginning Septem-ber 3 in room # 5 of St. John the Evangelist School.

DIVORCE HEALING Program – This ministry will bring hope and healing to those who have experienced the pain and loneliness of a broken marriage. Surviving Divorce: Hope and Healing for the Catholic Family features twelve video presen-tations that cover topics such as shock and grief, anger and forgiveness, money issues, dealing with children and a former spouse, and annulment and remarriage. This program is for newly separated and divorced and those still struggling with issues many years later. It will help them find answers to their questions, restore their hope, and begin authentic healing. A group begins Sep 10 at the Diocesan Pastoral Center and another on Sep 11 at St. Pius X.
