Dear Parent,

A very warm welcome to St. John’s Sports Day, 2014.

Every child has worked very hard perfecting their running technique during the summer term, so we are anticipating some high-quality performances!

All children have selected their two favourite distances to compete in. There will be sack, obstacle, 30 metre, 60 metre,

200 metre and 400 metre races, finishing with the house relay.

All the children have been placed randomly into heats in their respective year groups. In most cases 1st, 2nd and 3rd will progress on to the final, but in some cases two or four finishers may progress. This will depend on the popularity of the event and how many participants there are racing in the heats.

Stickers will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishers in the final.

Your encouragement is welcome and will be greatly appreciated by the competitors.

Please note the judges’ result is final!
