Dear SJA Families, We are preparing for Graduation tomorrow at 4PM. Due to the restrictions on the number of people who may attend a Mass (1/3 of Church capacity), and social distancing requirements due to COVID-19, attendance will be limited. We will not be able to incorporate some of the usual traditions but we will celebrate these amazing students! We will be recording the Mass and Graduation ceremony and will send information on how to view them. St. Joan of Arc Parish has opened for Mass at 5PM, 8:30AM, and 11:15AM. Please join us this weekend! There are some safety measures in place. Please view this short video about what to expect Returning to Mass at SJA We will have a Yearbook this year! Attached is a flyer to purchase the yearbook and/or place an ad. Please contact Lisa Schmick at lschmick81@gmail.com for further details if you are interested in placing an ad this year. She is also asking for photos of the school year, including continuous learning at home. Thank you so much to those who submitted their contracts in School Admin. We truly understand that this is a difficult time and you may have questions. If so, please reach out to Mrs. Maid emaid@stjoanarc.org or myself. Payment plans may be set up in FACTS to begin in June for up to 12 payments, in July up to 11 payments, or in August, up to 10 payments. Please submit your contract as soon as possible so that we can begin to order materials for next year. We anticipate being fully prepared for the 2020-21 school year and look forward to welcoming students back into St. Joan of Arc School on August 31st. St. Joan of Arc parishioners should email the form for the pastor’s signature to the parish office lborkoski@stjoanarc.org If you belong to another parish, please have the form signed by your pastor and email to Mrs. Maid emaid@stjoanarc.org Returning students will also receive a $375 adjustment to FACTS as remediation. Thank you to those generous families who have donated their remediation back to those in need. It is important that every family completes payments on their FACTS account for the 2019-20 year. St. Joan of Arc School

Grounded in Faith, Focused on the Future

Teachers have sent out sign ups scheduling times for parents and students in their class to come by and pick up materials as follows: Friday, June 5th—Kindergarten Monday, June 8th—First and Fifth Grades Tuesday, June 9th—Second and Sixth Grades Wednesday, June 10th—Third and Fourth Grades Thursday, June 11th—Seventh Grade and any remaining students Please contact your teacher if you have any questions. Staff will have materials in bags and place in your trunk or back seat. Although we want to speak with every student, the guidelines are instructing us to use safety precautions. The calendar/handbook for 2020-21 will be given to all returning families. St. Francis de Sales Church asked us to pass along this information. They will offer a Virtual VBS - Guardians of the Gospel 2020! Each day we will learn about a different Biblical character who could have been the role model for one of our favorite Marvel hero's! Each day will include a segment on a craft, music, game, and snack (to be completed at home). On Friday we will include a Superhero parade drive through. We also want to see everything you are doing at home, so there will be plenty of opportunities to post pic's and video's with our #hashtag of the day! The best part is this program is available to everyone.
