Why the Saint James the Great Bazaar has become a Tradition in Ayala Alabang Village

-The proceeds of all these bazaars are for the benefit of St. James Parish Foundation, Inc. whose mandate is to build the Parish Church and all the ancillary structures necessary in the efficient operation of the parish. The Church was built and completed from the proceeds of all fund-raising efforts for a number of years.

St. James Bazaar started in 1991 to help raise funds for the construction of the Church. Through the years, 100% of the proceeds of the bazaar helped in the following:

- The construction of the St. James the Great Parish Church from 1991 to 1993.

-The purchase of the St. James Parking Lot (Cuenca St. Cor. Nasugbu St.) which is now being used as one of the venues of the bazaar.- Installation of the Airconditioning System of the Main Church.

- Build the St. James Parish Rectory Annex for the use of the Parish Priest and the St. James employees quarters.

- Maintenance & Repair of all Parish structures.

-The Parish is also used for recollection and retreat.
