St George’s Parish is within the Marmingatha Episcopate of
Bishop Genieve Blackwell, in the Diocese of Melbourne.
The parish office will be closed from the 22nd to the 8th of January.
The clergy will continue to be available. But it would be appreciated if your calls can be kept to urgent matters only.

VISITORS are most welcome at St George’s. Please introduce yourself to the clergy and collect the “Welcome” leaflet at the entry bench inside the church. Gluten free wafers are available; please advise the clergy or a welcomer before the service.
CAR PARKING for worship services. It would be appreciated if you leave the car spaces closest to the Church for the less agile worshippers. It helps older parishioners if you park behind the Church when coming to worship, unless you need to be closer.

Tuesday 23 January Associate Professor Andrew Singleton Andrew Singleton, PhD, is a sociologist in the School of Social Sciences and Humanities at Deakin University. He is author of Religion, Culture and Society: A Global Approach and co-author (with Michael Mason and Ruth Webber) of The Spirit of
Generation Y: Young People’s Spirituality in a Changing Australia. Session 1: Making Sense of the Generational Decline in Anglican Identity. Session 2: Remaking spirituality: The religious and spiritual lives of Australia's teens.
Wednesday 24 January The Very Revd Dr Andreas Loewe is the Dean of Melbourne. He is an historian and musician with a particular interest in the music of Bach and the theology of Luther, fellow compatriots from Andreas’ German birthplace. This convergence will prove to be a rich experience on the day.
Thursday 25 January The Revd John Stewart Fr John is the Director of the Living Well Centre for Christian Spirituality and well known to many in the Diocese and beyond. He will bring The Rule of Benedict, written in the 6th century, to new life for us, who live in the equally unstable 21st century.
10am to 3pm each day with a delicious fully catered lunch. $60 per day / $155 for 3 days
