Participation: Participation is not limited.

Entry:

Open to all fencers with valid 2016-2017 FIE License. No fencer is allowed to take part in an official event of the

FIE unless he or she is at least 13 years old on 1 January in the year of the competition.

Entries of fencers, teams and referees can only be made at the FIE website, www.fie.org, respecting the

deadlines specified in the FIE Rules (cf. o.54).

Entry fee: Individual competition: 230 HRK (30€)

The entry fee is paid at registration before the start of the competition.

Referee Obligation:

Each country is required to send FIE qualified referees in accordance with FIE rule o.81:

1–4 fencers - No obligation to provide a referee

5–9 fencers - One referee (FIE A, FIE B or FIE Candidate)

10 or more fencers - Two referees (FIE A, FIE B or FIE Candidate).

FIE Candidate referees are National category referees who are candidates for the FIE refereeing exams and have

paid to take them are authorised to referee satellite competitions as they hold a FIE Fencer’s license valid for the

current season (Rule t.35).

* Should a national federation not provide the required number of referees, a fine according to FIE Organisation

Rules will be inflicted on it.

Non respect of quota is sanctioned by 1000 € for every missing referee per competition and shall be paid to the

Organizers before start.

* The FIE refereeing exam candidates used during the competition must have a FIE fencer’s license, which is valid

for the current season. (FIE Administrative rules & FIE Technical rules)

Formula:

According to FIE regulations, formula for junior competitions. One round of pools, from which 20-30% of fencers

will be eliminated, followed by Direct Elimination without repechage.

Prizes:

Cups for 1st

, 2nd

and 3rd

places assured by Organisers both for male and female winners.

500€ for 1st

place - male title winner and 500€ for 1st

place - female title winner assured by Official sponsor.

All delegations must arrange for their own accommodation.
