HAVE FAITH, NOT FEAR!! CAN’T MAKE IT TO MASS? So what can Catholics do to stay true to their faith when they are unable to receive the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist? The Church says we can make a "Spiritual Communion." But how does one do that? There are many ways to pause during the day and unite with the Lord when partaking in the Eucharist isn't possible. Here are a couple of ideas of what you can do alone or with your family.

Watch Father Courtright and Father Antony Samy celebrate daily and Sunday Mass at St. Anthony’s on YouTube! Search for St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in YouTube, or click the link on our website at www.stanthonyfargo.org to take you there.

The Diocese of Fargo is live-streaming daily and Sunday Mass through their website at fargodiocese.net.

The Diocese of Fargo sponsors a broadcast of the Sunday Mass every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM on WDAY/WDAZ TV in Fargo and Grand Forks.

Listen to daily Mass at 9:00 AM, Monday-Friday, on our Catholic radio station (Real Presence Radio) by tuning into AM 1280 or streaming online through your device.

If online or TV Mass is not available, you may do the following at home: 1. Say the Profession of Faith (the Nicene Creed) 2. Read from the readings for that day's Mass (found in this week’s bulletin under the daily

Mass Schedule or through the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops website at http://www.usccb.org/bible/readings/).

3.  Say the Our Father

Whether you watch a televised or online Mass or pray together at home, include this beautiful prayer: My Jesus, I believe that you are in the Blessed Sacrament. I love you above all things, and I long for you in my soul. Since I cannot now receive you Sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though you have already come, I embrace you and

unite myself entirely to you; never permit me to be separated from you.

DON’T FORGET FORMED.ORG! While individuals and families are spending more time at home, there is a great online resource with Catholic movies, studies, and audio content at our fingertips! Visit formed.org to sign up and begin watching

or listening if you haven’t already. Once you click “sign up,” you will select that you belong to a parish or organization, and then enter our parish code of H6D6VP to gain access through our parish subscription. Call or email the parish office with any questions. (701-237-6063 or [email protected]).

Although we cannot come together in person this Good Friday as a parish community, we can each pray and reflect at home. Please consider holding the nail you received (at the Ash Wednesday Masses) and sitting in prayer this Good Friday beside a crucifix. If you wish, use the following reflection: My Most Glorious and Suffering Lord, it is Your Hour. It is the Hour by which You conquered sin and death. It is the Hour for which You came into this world, taking on flesh so as to offer Your precious life for the salvation of the world. May I be with You, dear Lord, in these moments of suffering and death. May I, like Your Mother, John and Mary Magdalene, stand at the foot of the Cross, gazing upon the perfect Gift of Love. My suffering Lord, may I see in Your Cross the most perfect act ever known in this world. May I see Love in its most pure form. May my eyes and soul look beyond the blood and pain and see Your Divine Heart, pouring forth Mercy upon me and upon the whole world.

Today I kneel in silent adoration of You, my God. I sit quietly, beholding the great mystery of our faith. I behold God, beaten, bruised, mocked, tortured and killed. But in this act, I see all grace and Mercy flowing from Your wounded Heart. Bathe the world in Your Mercy, dear Lord. Cover us with Your grace and draw us to new life through Your death. I love You, dear Lord. I love You with all my heart. Jesus, I trust in You. (Source: https://mycatholic.life/catholic-prayers/triduum-and-easter-prayers/prayer-meditation-for-good-friday/)
