INTERCESSORY PRAYER MINISTRY Last Sunday, as part of our Year of Prayer here at St. Anthony’s, we kicked off our new Intercessory Prayer Ministry! We were so happy to have a good handful of people take advantage of the beautiful opportunity to pray together for a specific intention with our Intercessory Prayer Teams. For the week ahead, we encourage you to consider 2 things: 1) Is there something on your heart that can be lightened by offering it up to God through the interaction with our Intercessory Prayer Team, and 2) Are you being
called to be part of the Intercessory Prayer Team, to pray with others after Mass? After Masses next weekend, October 5/6, Intercessory Prayer Teams will again be available to pray with individuals. Please consider taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity to pray together! “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20 LITTLE FLOWERS GIRLS’ CLUB Check out a fun and faith filled group for girls ages 5 and up. Virtues will be learned through scripture and the lives of saints. Meetings will be held at St. Anthony’s, beginning in October. To learn more, visit the St. Anthony’s website and click the Little Flowers’ slide on the front page . FAITH & FITNESS CLASS There will be NO Faith & Fitness Class on Wednesday, September 25 or Wednesday, October 2. Classes will resume on Wednesday, October 9, at 11:45 AM, in the Social Hall. SAVE THE DATE FOR DECEMBER 6 & 7 In conjunction with our Year of Prayer, Maryvale Convent in Valley City will be hosting a St. Anthony of Padua “Day of Recollection” on December 6 and 7. FORMATION OF SECULAR FRANCISCAN ORDER Is God calling you to the Secular Franciscan Order? The rule and life of the Secular Franciscan is to observe the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ by following Saint Francis of Assisi. If this spirituality is appealing to you, come to our meeting and find out more on Sunday, October 6, at 2:00 PM, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in West Fargo. Most Reverend Bishop John Folda, Bishop of the Fargo Dio-cese, has given his approval and blessing to the canonical establishment of a Secular Franciscan Order frater-nity in Fargo. We invite your consideration and will welcome you at the October 6 meeting.
