    An Experience of A Lifetime

Sri Sri Institute of Management Studies had a rousing Hike

    on 8th

October, 2011 to Savari waterfall, Netravali. The

trekking was well organized under the supervision of Mr. RajivNarvekar, a trekking specialist. The students, faculty and staff

members were pleased to explore the scenic beauty and

adventurous course. The breathtaking narrow and zigzag

pathways and the slippery rocks made it more enjoyable.

It was made easy by the local guide. There were many water

streams in-between to cross through, which doubled the

excitement. It took one and a half hour to reach the final

destination. The students spent almost 3 hours at the waterfall.

The group found taking care of cleanliness of the place and

environment as a whole. As everyone took the responsibility

of picking up the plastic bags, wrappers and other waste back

along with them. The group was one with a calm and soothing

environment and surprisingly, no one felt tired after walking a

long distance to-and fro. Students along with staff members

including the Director, felt all fresh and thrilled at the end for

this change from routine. As it is truly said,

I go to nature to be soothed and healed,

And to have my senses put in order.

The important thing is not being afraid to take a chance. Remember, the

greatest failure is to not try. Once you find something you love to do, be

    the best at doing it."

There is so much of competition for jobs nowadays and the availability of

jobs has also been reduced. What will the people in need of jobs do? How

will they satisfy their needs and fulfil their dreams?

An answer to all these questions is to be an EntrepreneurEntrepreneurship is discovering, evaluating, and exploiting opportunities,

to come up with a new business venture. The more harderand smarter

we work, the more will be the profit is one of the policies inentrepreneurship.

Running a business can be a partial social service to the country as well as

mankind. By running a business, we not only provide jobs to the needy

but also make our country independent in the process of becoming a well

developed country .Encouraging people to be entrepreneurs can help us

get people having different ideas to do different kinds of business. The

fact of creating a business from scratch, and being solely responsible for

its success, gives you a satisfaction that can hardly be achieved by taking

    up a job.

For a long time it was thought that entrepreneurs were special, that they

were just born with the ability and desire to go their own way on their

own. Over the past twenty years or so, it is discovered that entrepreneurs

learn to do what they do. They also learn to a large extent, to be who they

are. That's why we say they are made not born.

A key trait for an entrepreneur is their ability to anticipate problems. The

business environment is dynamic and ever changing. The ability to think

out of the box is essential to innovate and to be competitive. Lateral

thinking can be a means to break traditional shackles of thinking and to

infuse fresh life in entrepreneurial decision making and problem solving.

Networking is an integral business activity for an entrepreneur. It can b

an excellent form of business promotion. It would generate better an

reliable business leads. Today business networks are built o

communities formed by local associations meant for social gathering o

    businessman.

On the basis of type and creativity, entrepreneurial activities are bee

substantially divided. Entrepreneurship ranges from solo projects t

major undertakings, creating job opportunities for people. For all this t

happen support is been granted from government agencies, incubator

and NGOs. A business formation needs an entrepreneurial mindset.

We as future entrepreneurs can look upon the greatest entrepreneurs oall time. There are far too many figures to choose from to give anyon

the final say. Entrepreneurs like Bill Gates ,Steve Jobs, Oprah Winfrey

Michael H. and Jay Arrington are some of them who have created a va

impact on building entrepreneurs through their teachings in life .As sai

Believe in yourself and your vision. See genius in your craziness an

only then, you will be able to lead an insanely great life.
