  • ANNOUNCEMENT FOR UNDERGRADUATE (BSc or BA) SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED BY THE OMAN ACADEMIC FELLOWSHIP

    (OAF) PROGRAM The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of Zanzibar, in collaboration

    with the Ministry of Higher Education of Oman and the Oman Academic

    Fellowship (OAF) Joint Committee, is pleased to invite potential applicants of

    qualified Zanzibaris to apply for undergraduate scholarships under the Oman

    Academic Fellowship (OAF) Program for the academic year 2015/2016.

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

    1. All applicants must be Zanzibaris.

    2. Applicants must have completed Advanced Certificate of Secondary

    Education Examination (Form VI Certificate) with Distinction or Merit.

    Preferences will be given to applicants with higher grades.

    3. Applicants must not exceed 25 years of age.

    4. Proof of study in Zanzibar for complete of 3 years of Secondary levels, from

    Form IV to Form VI.

    APPLICATION PROCEDURES:

    All applicants must fill out the electronic application through the Higher

    Education Admission Center via website: www.heac.gov.om

    Applicants must upload the following scanned documents:

    i. Identification Documents (Zanzibari ID card and Passport)

    ii. Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (Form VI

    certificate).

  • iii. Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (Form IV

    certificate).

    iv. Birth certificate.

    Note: Any application that does not have all the above-mentioned documents

    will be incomplete and will not be considered.

    Electronic Applications should be submitted between 30th July 2015 to 19th August

    2015.

  • Note: Successful applicants shall be informed by formal letters, which shall
