Company History

SPS Cigaronne Co Ltd was established in 1999. Cigaronne made a revolutionary step in the world tobacco industry creating premium kind of tobacco product: unique hard filter holder cigarettes with Cigaronne brand name. While inventing Cigaronne three ideas were taken to set up a base, they are the high quality, meeting the requirements of hygiene and creating maximum comfort for smokers. And thanks to the emphasis on the high quality the company was granted the ISO9001:2000 certificate in 2001. Cigaronne products and the brand name have been patented by our company. The high professionalism of our staff ensures the success of the company. SPS Cigaronne Co. Ltd. is continuing to develop with constant paces and today has already shown goodwill in numerous countries of different continents. The company shows 30% average rate of growth annually. Today we export our products to 30 countries and are involved in intensive marketing and promotion activity in more than 40 countries. It is only a matter of time when Cigaronne will be available in most countries of the world. The R& D team of our company constantly brings new ideas into reality, which are aimed at modernizing smoking culture. Our Laboratory is equipped with extra modern equipments, which ensure the quality of each Cigaronne. The Factory

The factory is located in Yerevan, equipped with modern production lines, offices and other necessary facilities, including special micro-climate controlled warehouse for tobaccos and other materials. The Lab is equipped with Borgwaldt equipment, and the production lines are made by Focke and Decoufle. SPS Cigaronne 200 people, many of whom are world class professionals in the tobacco industry. The company additionally employs dozens of top class professionals in the field of market research in several other countries. During the past years the capacity was largely increased to meet the increasing annual demand for SPS Cigaronne products. The company is privately owned.

As the name implies Cigaronne Excusive is the highest quality product available in modern market made from especially developed exclusive materials. The American blend used in “Cigaronne” contains specially selected fine quality and most expensive tobaccos from major growing areas of Brazil, Argentina, Zimbabwe, Italy, Malawi, Greece, USA, etc. The finished cut rug tobacco is delivered to the factory of SPS Cigaronne Co. Ltd. from Europe. Leading European companies have been involved, introducing their advanced experience and custom-made equipment and devices along with know-how technologies. All components used in the cigarette “Cigaronne” are developed and produced specially for the production of this unique item. Cigarette paper of top quality and original design is used in tobacco product for the first time. White coated tipping paper with special additives keeps it from getting wet and furthers its quick extinguishment, which makes smoking more aesthetic and pleasant. The logo is printed on a holographic band by a unique method of hot stamping "foil on foil" technology, which is applied for the first time in the world.

A specially designed foil laminated inner liner printed and lacquered on both sides protects the quality of Cigaronne for an extended period. The pack with a unique design is distinguished with its long hinge lid allowing one to extract a Cigaronne from the center of the filter-holder, which meets the modern hygienic requirements. The eye-catching holographic tear tape produces a visually pleasant optical effect on the pack and secures a high protection against counterfeiting and imitation. The Lady Range was launched by SPS Cigaronne only in 2006 to fill the gap in the market.

A gap which was felt by many female smokers around the world. Whereas there are a number of cigarette brands designed for ladies, none of them highlight femininity and style as much as the brand Lady. Lady cigarettes come in three types 1. Lady2. Lady Rose3. Lady Menthol

All of these are Slims size cigarette with Cigaronne’s unique slim filter.
