Bus2alps began in winter 2003. A series of train strikes prevented students from getting to their ski weekend in Interlaken, Switzerland. We decided to rent a coach bus, offer transportation to friends, and the idea took off from there!

We began organizing trips to other destinations like the Amalfi Coast in the warmer months and Oktoberfest, a Eurotrip must. Bus2alps has continued to grow and expand and today, we've carried over 150,000 passengers.

The easiest, most affordable way to travel is to hop on one of our bus trips. These include round-trip transportation by coach bus with DVD, AC, and bathroom, in addition to accommodation. We provide door-to-door service and take care of all the logistics so your trip is completely hassle-free. Buses depart from the main train station in the city center, and you will receive specific meeting point and departure details several days prior to your trip. With this option, all you need to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!

If you do not reside in one of our departure cities or your desired destination cannot be reached by bus, book the MEET US THERE option. These trips include everything our bus trips do with the exception of round-trip transportation. What better way to spend a weekend than by crossing three cities and two countries off your list? Start by relaxing in Budapest's outdoor thermal baths in the city known for its naturally warm spring waters. When the sun sets, dine while cruising past the glowing monuments on the banks of the Danube River, then check out the local ruin bar scene. Going on the Bus 2 Northern Loop break trip was one of the best decisions of my life. The 10 day long trip was planned out completely so there was no hassle trying to book transportation or hostels and there were plenty of wicked fun activities to be done in each of the 5 cities we visited (Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, and Paris). The journey to Greece begins with departure from Florence or Rome heading to Ancona. Once there, we’ll board the overnight cruise ship complete with restaurants, bars, clubs and stores.

Once we arrive at the Greek mainland, we’ll hop on a bus to Athens. We’ll point out the hot spots before getting ready for a night indulging in traditional Greek food and Athens' rich nightlife.

Our walking tour of one of the world's oldest cities doesn’t miss a beat, from the 1896 Olympic Stadium, to the Temple of Zeus, and of course, the Acropolis. Spend your afternoon eating lunch in bustling Monastiraki Square.

Board the ferry for Santorini. After arrival, the afternoon is free to explore the city known for its iconic white and blue buildings clinging to the cliffside before taking in the incomparable sunset.

Hop on a bus tour of Santorini that visits the red and black sand beaches or rent ATVs to explore the island. In the evening, you’ll have the option to head to the town of Oia to watch its famous sunset over Santorini.

Welcome to the Pink Palace! Indulge in fresh feta while lounging beachside, or join in on one of the various activities offered before getting ready to head to your included dinner.

You can’t go wrong between partaking in the Booze Cruise, the ATV Safari, sea kayaking, a day trip to Corfu Town or simply relaxing on the beach. Save some energy for tonight’s Pink Toga Party!

Enjoy your last day in Corfu before we depart in the early evening on our return cruise to Ancona.

Departure day! If you’re departing from Italy, travel to Berlin is by private luxury coach with A/C, DVD, and bathroom. If you’re meeting us there, we’ll catch you in Germany!

We’ll head to the East Side Gallery along the Berlin Wall. From there, you’ll have the day free to check out Museum Island, get a view of the city at the TV Tower, or shop at the markets before experiencing Berlin’s massive nightlife scene.

From The Brandenberg Gate to Checkpoint Charlie, our walking tour will take us through history in the city that first divided, then reunited, Europe. Explore Berlin until departure for Amsterdam in the late evening.

From the Red Light District to Dam Square, our walking tour includes much of the city's rich history. Hop on a bike or canal tour to explore even further before taking on Amsterdam's free-spirited nightlife.

After breakfast, take your picture on the famous IAMSTERDAM sign. You’ll have the option to head to the Heineken Experience. For those who haven't signed up, you have a free afternoon to explore any sites you haven't seen yet like the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, and Anne Frank House.

Wednesday kicks off with a walking tour to famous landmarks like Notre Dame and ends at the Louvre. Spend your afternoon surrounded by art, shopping the chic Champs-Élysées or picnicking near the Arc di Triomphe before the glow of sunset from Sacré-Cœur takes your breath away.

Make the most of your last day in Paris by exploring one of the many famed neighborhoods, or take a day trip to the Palace of Versailles. We depart Paris for Barcelona on Thursday afternoon.

End Spring Break beachside in Barcelona! We’ll hit the sun-soaked, colorful streets on our included walking tour. Take a quick siesta to save energy for the city's famous nightlife and world-renowned clubs.

Departure day! If you’re departing from Italy, travel to Prague is by private luxury coach with A/C, DVD, and bathroom. If you’re meeting us there, we’ll Czech you in Prague!

Hear the fascinating history of Prague as we venture through the Old Town, New Town and Jewish Quarter. Relax in Letna Park with an amazing view of the city, sip on the local brew at the Beer Museum, or climb to the top of the Clock Tower before dancing to 80’s & 90’s throwbacks at one of the city’s best clubs, Lucerna.

We’ll cross the the river to Mala Strana to get up close and personal with the Charles Bridge, John Lennon Wall, and some of David Cerny’s most famous art installments. Next, we’ll head up to Prague Castle for some of the best views of the city.

After arrival in Berlin, we’ll head to the East Side Gallery along the Berlin Wall. You’ll have the day free to check out Museum Island, get a view of the city at the TV Tower, or shop at the markets before experiencing Berlin’s massive nightlife scene.

From Brandenberg Gate and the Berlin Wall to Checkpoint Charlie, The Reichstag, and Mitte Town, our walking tour will take us through history in the city that first divided, then reunited, Europe. After an optional, organized group dinner at Hofbräu Berlin, we’ll depart for Amsterdam.

Kick off our your day in Amsterdam with a walking tour from the Red Light District to Dam Square ending near the Anne Frank House. Between the city’s rich history, various museums and bike or canal tours, you’ll have plenty to do before taking on Amsterdam’s free-spirited nightlife.

Plan to fly into Lisbon on Thursday afternoon or evening and check into your accommodation. Explore downtown Lisbon during you first night in Portugal.

Enjoy a walking tour to get acquainted with this coastal, pastel-colored city. Have a free afternoon to wander the winding hills or choose to travel outside the city to Sintra or Cascais.

Head out early in the morning to the sandy beaches of Peniche for an included surf camp. Noivce or pro, no worries, we'll make sure you catch a wave! After the lesson, spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach or head to the open waters.

South we go to Lagos! Partake in water sports or enjoy a day at the museum before indulging in Portuguese nightlife.

Soak up the aquamarine waters, sandy beaches and famous-arched rocks of the stunning Portuguese coast. Get up close and personal with hidden coves in a kayak or explore the beach town of Lagos. The day is yours.

Arrive in unique Spanish city of Seville by lunchtime. You'll have the afternoon free to explore the downtown and visit the famous Plaza de España before departing for Madrid after dinner.

Arrive in Zaragoza in time to enjoy some Aragonese cuisine for lunch, and then head for Barcelona. The trip on Feb 21 will overlap with Abroadfest.

Plan for your flights to arrive to a Roman airport in the evening. We will pick you up by luxury coach bus and start our journey down to Sorrento!

Become acquainted with the Imperial city on a walking tour of the Roman Forum, Circus Maximus, and Colosseum. Take the rest of the day free to continue exploring before feasting on Roman food during an included dinner!

Kick off the morning by ferrying over to the beautiful Island of Capri. Enjoy a private boat tour before making your way up through the different levels of the island. Grab a quick bite to eat before venturing up on the Montsalaro chairlift for unmatched views of the Bay of Naples before heading back to the mainland. In the evening, head into downtown Sorrento for dinner and night out on the town.

See any sights you haven't seen yet before we head to the expansive Vatican City in the afternoon. In the evening, we will walk to Pincio Hill, which overlooks all of Rome. From there we will walk to the Spanish Steps and stop to make a wish at the Trevi Fountain.

Climb aboard our private party boat with an included lunch as you cruise down the coast to reach the famous black-sand beach of Positano! Spend the afternoon working on your tan or floating in the clear Tyrrhenian Sea! Enjoy a free evening in Sorrento to indulge in fresh seafood or wander the sprawling promenade.

On Sunday we will depart the Amalfi Coast and stop for a few hours to explore the famous ruins of Pompeii before continuing our journey north. Arrive to Rome in the early evening to check into your accommodation.

Depart Rome for Florence. After we check into our accommodation, your trip leader will give you a walking tour of Florence. We will see the Duomo, the historic Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, Piazza Signoria, and more! That night there will be an optional Tuscan family-style dinner at our favorite restaurant.

You will have all day Wednesday free to explore more of Florence’s endless beauty. In the evening, your trip leader will take you to Piazzale Michelangelo for the city's best sunset view.

Depart Florence for Venice. We will check into our accommodation then head off on a walking tour of the sinking city! Be dazzled at an included glass blowing show before wandering the winding alleys where you'll explore the intricate canal system of the city built on water.

From the Venice city center, we will organize a trip to visit the famous colorful houses on the island of Burano, and then head down the Grand Canal past Rialto Bridge to St. Mark's Square. Enjoy the free afternoon to catch a gondola ride while enjoying a Spritz like a true Italian!
