PLAYPlay is used with ball sports or competitive games where we play against another person:

'How often do you play tennis?' - tennis is a ball sport.'I play poker with my friends on Friday night.' - poker is a competitive game. We play to win.'I don't like playing computer games.' - again, computer games are competitive so we use play.

DODo is used for a recreational activity or a non-team sport that does not use a ball:

'I heard that you do karate.' - karate is a non-team activity.'I do crossword puzzles in my free time.' - crossword puzzles are not competitive.

GOGo is used with activities that end -ing. We go somewhere to do something:

ORAL PRESENTATIONS for FRIDAY 12th of February:

+Choose between this two options:

a)Choose an interesting SPORT (popular ones as FOOTBAL or BASKETBALL are forbidden) and talk about it .Piece of advice: try to be original. Don´t prepare a list of equipment and rules and just read it…. ( No two students can talk about the same sport so before you start preparing your presentation make sure there is no one else who has decided to do the same)

b)Choose a sportsman/woman and talk about him/her,emphasizing

on his/her sports career.Piece of advice: be original, don´t start reading boring facts PLEASEEEEE
