Backstoppalooza is a fundraiser concert that supports Backstoppers, Inc., an organization that provides immediate financial aid and othersupport to the families of Police Officers and Firefighters who lose their lives in the line of duty.

ABOUT BACKSTOPPALOOZAThe annual Backstoppalooza fundraiser concert is held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Chesterfield Amphitheater. All of the proceeds from Backstoppalooza (food and beverage sales) support Backstoppers (excluding production and band costs). Set within Chesterfield’s Central Park, the Amphitheater becomes the focal point of the park with a capacity for approximately 4,000 patrons. The City is able to host a variety of events ranging from movie nights to rock, jazz and blues concerts, and large orchestral performances.

The beautiful amphitheater is an intimate venue that combines state-of-the-art audio technology, and modern architecture with community charm. The curved roof structure of the performance area provides a direct relationship with the site’s curved shape. The stage provides unobstructed views of the performance area as well as a view of the landscaped lake that forms a natural backdrop.

The Chesterfield Amphitheater is uniquely situated within Central Park. Take advantage of the full spectrum of amenities including Linear Park, Veterans Place Drive, a lake gazebo, pedestrian bridges, stream walks, lake, trails, playground, Aquatic Center, and the Awakening.
