February 29 from 12 - 4 PM | Downtown Bellaire The American Culinary Federation of Northwest Michigan has partnered with Shanty Creek Resorts, the Bellaire Chamber of Commerce to bring “Art in Ice” to the Streets of Bellaire. Watch 3000 pounds of ice transformed into sculptures before your eyes. Carved by local culinary artists, visitors are invited to watch ice blocks take shape on February 29 from 12 - 4 pm. Sponsorship of a Custom “Ice Sculpture” Only $200. Funds will be used to provide ice for sculptures and also contribute to the American Culinary Federation Scholarship Fund. Sponsorship includes: • As a sponsor you will be included on promotional materials for the event. • A block of crystal clear Ice carved by a professional sculpturer. • Ice sculptures will be displayed on 2 x 2 x 1 base. • Sponsor name or logo displayed on 11 x 17 sign in front of sculpture. Notes for sponsors: Locations will vary and businesses aren’t guarenteed locations near their storefronts. This is due to safety concerns regarding space during the carving. Subject of the sculpture will be decided by the carver. Cooperative sponsorships are encourage between businesses. Deadline for sponsorships is February 8 and the sponsorship is tax-deductible.
