Top tipTheaimofthechallengeistocreatethefastestzipwire,butbecauseofthesumyou’lldoinstep5,thefastestmightnotbetheshortest!Youcouldhavealongerzipwiretohelpyourexplorergofast.

Youhave20minutestomakeyourzipwireusingthematerials–use

yourtimewisely!

Someonefromanothergroupshouldmeasureyourzipwireincmand

noteitdown.Then,sendyourexplorerdownitwhiletheytimehowlongittakesinseconds.

Howfastdidtheygo?Tofindthisoutyouneedtodothissum:

length÷time=speed.

So,itmightbe500cmdividedby6secondswhichis83.3.Sotheexplorerwent83.3cmpersecond!Usethecalculatorifyouneedto.
