About the Departament• The Sales Department is responsible for the

distribution and sales of all the products.• This department prepares the goods that will be sold

in the business everyday. So, we are working with the Marketing Department; promoting products, offering discounts, deals and advertising.

• We have a relationship with the warehouse to ensure there is enough items in stock for the day to day demand.Our own objective is to put the products into the market that the company manufactures.

Tasks• Attention to the customer• Market research• Design of the Sales strategy• To fix prices• Promoting the products and sales• Prepare the distribution channel• Fix the prices, and conditions of sales• To take a high control and test the sales

To take control and test the sales

• The sales department must keep an immediate relationship with the warehouse to make sure there is enough stock to cover the demand.

• Tight relationship with the Credit and Finance department so that they don’t sell to undesirable customers, know the credits line eg, the credit of each customer.

• The company musn’t differentiate between customers for time period of payment, discounts or promotions.
