The SP-3D sensor originated from the derivation of our sensor systems in the high security area in order to cost-e�ectively secure the smallest facilities. It can be connected as a single element directly to any common reporting system without extensive training. The robust aluminium housing (protection class IP65) suitable for concealed installation or for direct outdoor installation.

Several message types can be activated individually depending on the purpose. The sensor element precisely monitors each change in position, the body structure-borne sound and temperature, with trigger levels that can be set very sensitively, individually and varied using a Micro-USB and PC. The messages are output via two isolated relay contacts.

Because even the smallest movements or inclinations (e.g. attempts to climb over) can be reliably registered, as amongst other things, the SP-3D is designed for structures such as fences, facade elements, or any moving elements. Since this message type is implemented as a dynamic tilt detection, slow changes in position such as the setting of the construction or snowfall don't cause unwanted messages. Optionally structure-borne noise can be detected by the sensor, e.g. results from break in attempts. As the evaluation of the sensor signals is based on a digital �ltering technique the detection frequencies can be adjusted depending on the application. The operating system of the processor with the bootloader allows the later update the software to update the new messaging algorithm.

So far, the sensor has been used for monitoring of fences, walls, containers, pump stations, steel structures of halls and was used as a breakdown detector in reinforced concrete walls and roofs.
