...your latest ‘doncaster most wanted’as we start to pull ourselves away fromthe ice and snow and gently towardsspring -hopefully! We have another jam packed issuewith our usual fun and light-heartedsnippets, lots of facts and of coursesome great competitions! Did youknow we’ve actually given away wellover £20 000 worth of prizes to date?Get involved... it could be you! Thank you to Mr Smith who sent a let-ter outlining his concern over our inac-curate facts! If any of you have missedthis, it’s a recent addition to our compe-titions -we print the odd (one or two tomake it easier) ‘fake facts’ and ask thatyou identify them to be entered into adraw to win a prize! –if, Mr Smith youhad left your details, I could haveentered you into the prize draw! It didhowever cause a giggle in the office.Did anyone hear us on Sine FM recent-ly? We did a live session on theBusiness Show talking about theadvertising trends for 2010 and I haveto say one word, ‘nerve-wracking’ –wellmaybe that’s classed as two, but it wasfun and they are very nice at the studioand really looked after us.Most Wanted has also been to the
Welcome to... Mansion House this month! We were invited bySuccess Doncaster to speak to some centralgovernment officials in a quest to secure further
funding in the future for themto continue their excellentwork in supporting Doncasterbusiness. I was so inspired onthe day, meeting some individ-uals who have started theirbusiness in spite of extremeadversity and I’ve writtenabout one of them in March’s’issue of Doncaster Business& Leisure (DB&L) magazine. DB&L is our new projectlaunched in January. It’s an A4glossy which goes out to over10 000 businesses directly byRoyal Mail and the feedbackhas gone beyond what wecould have ever expected. So we’ve been working hard–as usual of course we havefound a little bit of time to havea bit of fun too! Amongst oursocial calendar was a visit forus all to support Castle Parkonce again but cheated thistime, opting for an inside seat, what a great day out, andthanks to Nick J for lookingafter us!Until next time......Enjoy

It’s not just our children weneed to worry about. Adultscan fall victim too.Hands up who worries that their teenager might beat risk from potential child abusers when they goonline. It’s a valid concern but did you know that we adultsare also at risk from those same offenders? In the early days of the internet people, includingpotential offenders, believed the web offered com-plete anonymity. Those days are gone. High profilecelebrity prosecutions have ensured that pae-dophiles now make every effort to conceal theiridentity.Activity on home internet accounts is easy to traceand no offender wants to lead the police straight totheir front door so they develop ways to cover theirtracks and one of the latest is ‘piggybacking’. Thisis the unauthorised use of another person’s wire-less broadband connection. Piggybacking masksthe identity of an offender. They can download ordistribute offensive, illegal material via an unse-cured Wi-Fi connection without having to register aservice in their own name. Worryingly that unse-cured Wi-Fi connection may be yours.A staggering one in six Wi-Fi connections in the UKis left unprotected and this opens the way for abuseto occur. The Washington Post recently reportedsuch a case in the US. Police arrived with a warrantat an apartment block in Arlington County, Virginia. They were there to arrest a man suspected of dis-tributing child pornography via his internet connec-tion. However, the owner of the apartment in ques-tion turned out to be an elderly lady with an openWi-Fi connection which covered ten storeys of herbuilding. In this instance the police had to drop the investiga-tion but it begs the question: what if she hadn’t been
an elderly lady but a single, middle-aged man? Wi-Fi piggybacking raises the real prospect of some-one being investigated or even convicted of a crimecommitted via their internet connection of whichthey are entirely innocent. Even if the police canseparate the crime from the connection-owner themere threat of police scrutiny can have devastatingconsequences: people have committed suicidewhile being investigated for such offences.Take a look at your Wi-Fi connection. Does it useWPA (wireless protected access) encryption or theolder, hackable, WEP (wired equivalent privacy)? Is it password protected? Both the connection andthe router should be protected and the passwordsshould be strong: a random series of letters andnumbers is the most difficult type of password tohack. Hide the router’s SSID (service set identifier)to minimise the chance of it being compromised. Finally, if you suspect your connection has beenviolated, report it. By protecting ourselves we make it more difficult forthose who want to harm our children which canonly be a good thing.

Lateral thinkingQuestion: A man is riding a sub-way. He meets a one-armed man,who pulls out a gun and shootshim.
Several men were shipwrecked togeth-er. They agreed to survive by eatingeach other a piece at a time. Each ofthem in turn gives up an arm, but beforethey get to the last one, they're rescued. They all demand that the last man liveup to his end of the deal. Instead, he
kills a bum and sends the bum's arm tothe others in a box to demonstrate thathe fulfilled the bargain. Later, one ofthem sees him on the subway, holdingonto the overhead rings with the arm hesupposedly cut off, realizes he cheated, and kills him. Sudoku
How to play Sudoku It’s simple! Fill in the grid so that each row, column and 3x3 box, contains the numbers 1 through to 9 with no repetition. You don’t need to be a genius. These puzzles use logic alone. Watch out! Sudoku is highly addictive.

No you’re not dreaming. This is a health arti-
cle about chocolate...and chillies too actual-
ly but I couldn’t work them into the title! It is
Valentine’s Day this month after all and
they’re both healthy additions to your diet, in
moderation! Before you cheer and rip open
that box of Ferraro Rocher, a word of cau-
tion: it’s the cocoa that counts. Forget about
white chocolate with its combination of butter
and sugar or milk chocolate which can be as
little as 10% cocoa. Instead cultivate a taste
for the dark sort, with at least 70% cocoa
solids.
The Aztecs valued chocolate so much their
taxation was levied in cocoa beans! The hot
frothy drink they made was reserved for war-
riors, nobility and priests and was said to
confer wisdom and vitality. Emperor
Montezuma, not one for moderation, drank
50 goblets a day. More recently one of the
world’s oldest centenarians, Jeanne
Calment (1875-1997), ate 2lbs a week until
her physician persuaded her to give it up at
the age of 119, 3 years before her death.
While Jeanne and Montezuma are extraordi-
nary examples of the apparent health bene-
fits of chocolate, recent trials have suggest-
ed that the antioxidants and flavanoids in
cocoa improve verbal and visual memory,
reaction times, balance certain hormones,
help to relieve blood pressure and boost
serotonin levels, our brain’s natural anti-
depressant. All good reasons to indulge a lit-
tle, especially this month.
Unfortunately chocolate can cause
headaches in sensitive folk and over-indul-
gence, even in dark chocolate, increases
our sugar intake, which is certainly not good
for our health!
But what could be nicer on a cold Valentine’s
Day than snuggling up with your loved one
and a cup of hot chocolate? Buy cocoa pow-
der, preferably organic and fair-trade, and
make a hot drink, sweetened with honey.
While you’re at it why not cook the object of
your affections an authentic Mexican chilli
dish by adding cocoa to the sauce? The
nutrient capsaicin, found in chillies, is a pow-
erful antioxidant and can help to prevent
many conditions such as high cholesterol,
heart and lung diseases and cataracts. It
also stimulates blood circulation which
boosts the immune system and it even
relieves pain.
Chocolate and chillies both encourage the
secretion of endorphins: natural chemicals
produced in every cell of the body. These
chemicals relax muscle tissue, relieve pain,
generate clearer thinking and act as mood
enhancers. To maintain good health we must
produce more endorphins, our ‘happy hor-
mones’, than disease-causing stress hor-
mones.
So this St Valentine’s day indulge a little and
think of all those healthy endorphins. You
could even try chilli chocolate – and give
yourself a double whammy!

On March 6th 1961 George Formby, one ofBritain's most popular entertainers, died aftersuffering a heart attack.Born George Hoy Booth inWigan in 1904, he was the sonof a music hall star who per-formed under the name ofFormby. When George was seven hewas apprenticed to a jockeybut weight gain meant this wasruled out as a career. So hefollowed his father onto themusic hall stage, making hisdebut when he was 17-years-old. His act featured a ukulele, the instrumentwhich was to become his trademark alongwith his toothy grin. Some of his most
famous songs stem from that era, including"When I'm Cleaning Windows" and his catch-
phrase "Turned out niceagain". Cinema goers flockedto see him in films such as“Spare a Copper” and “Georgein Civvy Street.”Although his stage personawas that of a good-naturedimbecile he was actually ashrewd businessman whoamassed a fortune. He retiredat the peak of his careerbecause of heart problems. Two months after his wife Beryldied, he surprised many peo-
ple by announcing his engagement toPatricia Howson but he died two monthsbefore they were due to be married.
