• The sounds you would generally hear in a post apocalyptic films are: screams, buildings collapsing, and the wind

rustling. These sounds are effective in this genre because it makes you feel alone and empty so therefore this places

you in the characters shoes and the wind rustling emphasises the silence so this gives the viewer suspense and tension for what is about to appear. The music in a post apocalyptic film starts of suttle and mysterious and

then the music progressively picks up tempo and the mood of the music tends to get darker and more low key.
