Wet n’ Wild Wednesdays

• Campers enjoy the HUGE water slide and outdoor water time as we ALL get soaked! Water balloon toss, “Drip, Drip

Soak!, and other water games.

• Don’t forget to bring your towel!

• Plus, free pizza & soda for lunch!

Field Trip Fridays

•Campers will enjoy trips to Zoo Miami, Gametime, Bird

Bowl, Grapeland Water park and so much more!

Imagination VacationYour child will experience a new adventure each week. They may step right up for some circus fun under the big top with clowns, popcorn, animal tricks and more. They will go on a treasure hunt and walk the plank after tossing cannon balls. They will enjoy a relaxing day at the beach with water play, beach volleyball, and seashell and sand art. Pitch your tent, take a hike, make trail mix and try s’mores on a camping expedition. Your child’s imagination will be taken on these and other unforgettable summer getaways.

Kids’ Cafe

Have you kids ever dreamed of opening their own restaurant with all their favorite foods? During this camp, they will be able to do just that. Everyone will have a part from planning the menu, decorating the restaurant, learning to set tables and make centerpieces, cooking and serving food, and finally eating it. Make a reservation at this positively scrumptious camp!

Messy MasterpiecesTie-dye an item of your choice, design your own wrapping paper, paint a flowerpot, and string beads to design a keychain or bracelet. Create sand art, color some stained glass, custom decorate a tote bag and make a birdfeeder. If these traditional arts and crafts are up your alley, then this is the class for you! Each week will be packed with colorful, fun-filled activities. We will make it and you can take it, but only after we have displayed our amazing creations for all to see in our end-of-the-week art exhibit!

Curtain CallCalling all young actors and comedians! Come and explore the exciting world of theater and improv. Work on stage presence, sharpen your ability to think on your feet, and build confidence through a variety of acting games and exercises. Participate in unrehearsed scenes as well as short, scripted vignettes and show off your work in a short presentation on the last day of camp. Places, everyone…the curtain is about to go up!

Pirate IslandAhoy all Pirate Island buccaneers (and little mermaids as well)! Come aboard this pirate ship and have a swashbuckling good time as we set sail to a world of adventure. We will read stories, play games, make pirate outfits and accessories of our own, learn pirate lingo, follow treasure maps to find the hidden treasure and spend plenty of time looking for gold, walking the plank and playing on our big pirate ship. See ya there matey!

Rising StarsDo you have dreams of fame and fortune? Wish you could be a famous ballerina, a broadway star, a prince or princess, a dancer, a popstar, an actor, a model? In this fun fantasty camp, your wishes will come true as you spend a week living the life of super stardom! In this class you'll dance to the music of your favorite real life pop stars like Hannah Montana, pretend you're a Disney prince or princess at the royal ball, walk down the red carpet while cameras snap your picture, and receive the rock star treatment at the Pinecrest Spa! It will be a week full of dancing to all kinds of music, singing along to your favorite tunes, and of course all kinds of pampering and make believe! Everyone achieves celebrity status in this camp!

Summer Academy Staff

• The teaching team consists entirely of professional educators and experienced

instructors from Somerset Academy Silver Palms! They are a talented, creative, and enthusiastic group of

professionals who love working with children and who are dedicated to

providing a fun and enriching summer for each camper.
