Cost Enhance budget for BPL to Rs 70,000/- per home Homestead plot allocation be enhanced
Aggregate Housing Cluster of 10 houses for Rs 7,00,000 with 1,00,000 for
common basic amenities (roads, drinking water, community toilet etc)
NREGA could be used to supplement the above
Strategies / Financial Sources
Ensure convergence with NRLM, NREGA etc.

Years wise Targets
Year wise targets could be decided based on Shelter Security Survey Results by respective State Govt / Dedicated Institution
Combination of saturation approach with focus on ease of implementation
Building Materials & Technologies
MoU with association of cement, steel, manufacturers etc for ensuring cost effective availability of conventional building materials
Promote use of non-conventional building materials to adopt green building materials and technologies (HUDCO, Building Centres, IITs, NIRD, Dev Alt, Auroville etc)
Manpower Availability & Training
Integrate with NRLM and RBCsConduct regular training workshops for
masons, carpenters etcDesign and Implement Certificate Course for
Crafts persons involved with Rural Housing Sector
