Solution to Air Passenger Thrombosis……
BHASKAR JYOTI BORADEPARTMENT OF AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERINGGNI,HYDERABAD
An idea with reasons..
A flight inside is Artificial Environment
Conversion
NATURAL ARTIFICIAL
INSIDE FLIGHT
Common onboard flight syndrome
• Economy Class Syndrome (Deep Vein Thrombosis DVT)
• Jet Lag
• Respiratory Infections
• Parasite Infestation
• Altitude sickness on arrival
• Air rage
A feel of sensation with pain and un comfortable, make your journey vulnerable
Only possible way to eradicate DVT is….EXCERCISE
The idea is………………..Making involve passenger in activity
Source where thought rested first
Inspiration
It is possible…….
A imaginative arrangement of the project
Possible practical pipe arrangement under floor of the flight to carry out all those pressure
The technical flow chart
Power system
Main compressor cylinder(All pressure will be stored here)
Outflow
Major pipe which will carry out all pressure from individual one
Pressure Gauze
High compressed pressure will be out to flight application
A imaginative calculation
• A cycle tyre can hold max 60-70 PSI(Normally 45-50 PSI we use)
• We pedal around 20 times , i.e 2-2.5 PSI in single pedal
• 100 people 5 minutes exercise,(300X100=30000 active sec)
• 3 sec average for one time, i.e 10000 times
• 10000x1.3= 13000 PSI (A useful pressure ready to flight service)
Key benefits
• Passenger comfort and satisfaction
• Free pressure generation
• Less arrangement
• Low investment
Advantage:The application of those pressure
• In the flight toilet with vacuum
• To compress Waste tanks
• For cleaning purpose
• Conversion is possible to other related type with necessary condition
Possible challenge
• Pressure loss
• Weight optimization
• Low cost
• Pipe linkage
• Can’t be depend just an auxiliary source in case of pressure generation
AIRBUS TEAM REVIEWEDWhy it was failed?
• We did not see enough evidence of your knowledge of current developments
• We did not think that you sufficiently identified some of the challenges and barriers to implementing your idea
• You did not outline the potential economic or financial benefits of your idea sufficiently
Why it was good?
• You showed a good understanding of the state of the art in the area of your proposal
• Your idea and its key elements were well described
• The idea looks interesting and innovative compared to current known practice.
• You clearly explained the potential benefits of your idea
Assessors comments:Passenger health is the importance of this idea is important.
This is the innovationbehind this idea.
Finally the Title becomes
Solution to air passenger thrombosis and pressure generation on board flight for flight service
THANK YOU
