Create a Solid model.Extrude a shape, add rounds & holes

Go to Applications, select Simulate

New top ribbon appears in CREO- Simulate

Select “Materials” to load / create Material properties (e.g., low carbon steel)

Choose material and select OK to load into model

Assign Material to model/part

Add Displacement Constraints (reactions/ boundary conditions)

Add External Forces & Moments(watch units)

Click ‘Analyses and Studies’

Select New Static Analysis

Select Method & Convergence %

Run Analysis

Check ‘Status’ and Convergence

Plot von Mises Stresses

Plot Results, Select what to plot & units

View Max Stress Location

Some high stresses are numerical and not real
