Processes, Initiatives, and Best Practices

Benefits and Description

There are two new NC Steps for specialized toolpaths. The references for Chamfer Milling are chamfer-like surfaceswhich are planar with an inclination relative to the Z-axis. The available tools are Chamfering, Drilling, Basic Drill,Spot Drill or Countersink. The tool angle should match the surfaces angle to enable the toolpath generation. ForRound Milling the references should be round-like surfaces such as cylinders, toroidal, and fillet surfaces. The toolavailable is corner rounding with the same radius as the surface.

Benefits and Description

Creo continues its migration to a modern, "swiss-knife" approach for toolkits with the further expansion of ObjectToolkit (C++). Object Toolkit uses Smart Pointer technology, widely used inside both Creo and Granite, for betterintegration of C, C++, and JAVA applications. In Creo 2.0, Object Toolkit fully supports ProAsm and partiallysupports Combined States. ATB and 3D Data Exchange capabilities are added.
