In this training, you’ll learn:
– What are the top social sharing platforms
– How to share on different platforms
– Which platform is best for top results
– Best ways to share products on Facebook
– What is Pinterest Business Account
– How to promote products on Pinterest

– How to promote products on Instagram
– How to promote products on YouTube
In this training, we’ll discuss how to share your designs on some of the best social media
platforms and get people to visit and purchase your designs. Most people spend a lot of time on
social media. Facebook, Pinterest, Google, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube are considered some
of the best social sharing platforms.
But Facebook is my personal favorite. I just feel it’s the best place, for the best price, and gives
the best return as compared to other platforms.
Let’s hop in and look into different social platforms.
We’ll start with Facebook.

FACEBOOK:
There are different ways to share on Facebook.
You can do this from your personal profile page and share your designs on your own page.
Grab your SunFrog product link.
IMPORTANT: Make sure it has your seller ID; otherwise SunFrog can’t determine it’s you and
you’ll lose all your sales. So always make sure that your seller ID is on the end of the link as
shown below.

FACEBOOK SHARING OPTION 1:
So by sharing on Facebook personal profile, I mean grabbing the product URL and placing it in a
post like this.
That’s how you can share a product on your personal profile.

FACEBOOK SHARING OPTION 2:
A great way of sharing your products on Facebook is by creating a Facebook page. I highly
suggest everyone create a Facebook page and share content on your page.

FACEBOOK SHARING OPTION 3:
Another great way to market your products on Facebook is by creating ads on Facebook.
In the dropdown menu, you’ll see the “Create Ads” option.
So you can actually create sponsored content and pay for it for the distribution of it on this
platform. And the best part about this feature is, that you can target people based on specific
interests and demographics. For example, you can target people who like dogs. So it’s a great
way to pair your products with interests.

PINTEREST:
On Pinterest, you can share one of your products in the form of a pin. So you can grab an image
of the product and pin it. Basically when you create a pin, you can place a link in the pin, so when
people click on your pin, they go to our website or product page.

Pinterest isn’t as friendly to affiliate marketing as Facebook is. But there is a paid option on
Pinterest as well, called “Promoted Pins.”
You can do this by clicking “Create Ad” in the top right section of the screen. You’ll need a
Pinterest Business Account to do so.
Basically what you do on Pinterest is keyword bidding. So you’re bidding on the keywords that
people are looking for. For example: “Dogs”

In order to do so, you’ll need a Pinterest Business Account. You can set one up by clicking here.
If you want to create an ad for a keyword, for example “Dogs,” you’ll have to set up a promoted
pin. You’d say that you want to spend like 40/50/60 cents per click and then it goes to auction.
And if you have the highest bid, your pin would show up in the top rows for that search term.
You can either use your current account to become a business account or you can create a new
business account, and then you’ll be able to run promoted pins.
Note: This is only for people with a US-based payment source. So if you’re a marketer from
outside the US and don’t have access to a US-based payment source, then you can rule out
Pinterest because you’re not going to be able to use it unless they change their policy.

GOOGLE:
Next we’ll briefly go through Google.com. Everyone knows Google.com which is one of the top
sites receiving the highest traffic. You can promote your products on Google.com.
There are different ways to promote your products on Google.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
One of them is “SEO – Search Engine Optimization.” The general idea behind SEO is that anyone
running a blog/website can optimize their pages to improve their ranking on Google.com. So
when people search for a particular keyword, your content will appear in Google search results.
That is the organic way.
Google AdWords:
Google AdWords is very similar to the Pinterest model, where you’re bidding on keyword terms.
But there are some problems with Google.
– They don’t like affiliate marketing, so it’s really difficult to affiliate market on Google.
– Their advertisement costs are really high compared to Facebook. For example, if you want
to bid on a keyword like “Dog,” sometimes the bid is $20+ per click. So if you’re a new
marketer or if you’re just testing keyword terms, designs, and content, Google is probably
not the place to start.

TWITTER:
Twitter is another platform where you can promote content and they’re a lot more friendly with
affiliate marketing.
Twitter is a pretty good option for social sharing your designs, and Twitter has its own set of ads
as well. Twitter has been scaling up to different tools and are getting better, but they’re still
nowhere near what Facebook has to offer. Their tools and analytics are second best to
Facebook. So if you’re trying Facebook and you want to try something else, or if you’re already
on Twitter and have a good following, this is probably a good option for you.

Twitter Marketing:
Twitter offers a similar auction/bid structure as Pinterest and Google. But they’re playing around
a little bit more with interest targeting and a unique style, like promoting group of tweets rather
than individual tweets. So you can test different products and see which ones are working.
Another difference between Twitter and Facebook:
If you look at Facebook ad traffic reach over time, it’s a very slow and steady growth that kind of
levels off and stays at that particular level.
Twitter ad traffic reach is a lot different. Your traffic reach curve on Twitter is more vertical and
then it drops immediately. So Twitter is good for short bursts.
Twitter Influence Marketing:
Another great aspect of Twitter advertisement is Twitter is influence marketing. This means that
you can reach out to Twitter users who have a large following who cares about the stuff that
you’re trying to market. So whether it’s “dogs, video games, etc.,” you can reach out to a Twitter
influencer and offer them money to promote your products. So that’s a cool feature from
Twitter.

INSTAGRAM:
Instagram is also a potential influencer marketing platform. You can get the same thing from
Instagram as on Twitter. Most of what you’re going to get from Instagram is on mobile. I would
recommend checking it on mobile as Instagram is almost all photo-dripping content, but you can
run ads on Instagram as well as through Facebook because Facebook owns Instagram.
You can set up an ad on Facebook and actually have the ad serve on Instagram. So you can hit
both platforms at the same time. If you really want to promote on Instagram, I suggest either
partnering with an influencer who can drive traffic to your products or running an ad through
Facebook.
Other than that, it’s really difficult as Instagram don’t like affiliate marketing either. They’ll strip
out links even in chat and bio.
So those are the options for sharing on Instagram.

YOUTUBE:
YouTube is another social platform. You can upload your product videos to YouTube along with
your product links in the description.
You can also share your product links in “comments.”
You can also add links to your YouTube profile and banner. So there is opportunity on YouTube,
but the focus of YouTube is more toward branding and video content and letting people know
who you are and getting them to buy into what you believe.
So in this training, we went over different social sharing options available and how to tweak and
tailor those platforms to promote, share, and drive traffic to your products to ultimately get
people to convert.
Congratulations! Now you know how to share your products on some of the top social media
platforms.
